You just dont get it. Adding an Extra deck has no negative effect on the deck. It is just expanding your options, just in case you get a scenario you can take advantage of.

Sanwitch and reaper are if he takes control of a prisma he can dump the material, gyrazus is if he manages to take control of bestari and another glad. Just because it is situational doesnt make it bad

 

Wait, are you talking about Summoning Gyzarus or dumping with him? Also, how many times have I've seen you say a card is situational and then declare it bad?

 

You are still not getting, if ou run a situational card in your main deck then it has a negative impact. However running an extra deck does not affect your main deck, and monster reborn is run in all competitive decks. Its not a hard concept, sometimes i wonder if people on this is site have 100 less IQ than normal people

Fine. I can't really think of any Deck that won't run either GB or Synchro's and win, so I guess he can keep his Extra Deck.

I don't focus on my extra deck to win. I have some powerhouse in the deck. The extra deck is there because it can be useful once in a while.

 

Imagine my opponent only has monsters and a prisma in his grave. I have 2 darks in the grave and monster reborn with DAD in my hand. I just have to take his prisma dump sangan or reaper and play DAD.

 

In that situation if i didn't have an extra deck i could have been in a bad situation even if i was holding big cards.

I'd like to fit in a brain control i was thinking about taking out a rota for it what do you think?

 

Somebody mentionned the destiny engine and i think that's the problem with these decks. Without disk it seems useless here. I could play plasma with d draws and trade ins, but it would weaken the deck making it too dependant on drawing for nothing and having nothing to defend.
