Attacking from the field is overrated.

[spoiler=Effect]While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot attack. Once per turn, you can reveal this card from your hand to declare an attack with this card. Only 1 "Transcendant" monster can attack during each of your turns. After this card has attacked 3 times using this effect, or if this card battles with a monster with equal or higher ATK than this card's ATK, discard this card from your hand and flip it face-down.

[spoiler=Effect]While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot attack. Once per turn while this card is removed from play, you can declare an attack with this card. Only 1 "Transcendant" monster can attack during each of your turns. After this card has attacked 2 times using this effect, or if this card battles with a monster with equal or higher ATK than this card's ATK, flip this card face-down.

[spoiler=Effect]Whenever 1 of your "Transcendant" monsters declares an attack, you can pay 800 Life Points to reveal your opponent's hand and select 1 Monster Card in your opponent's hand. The monster selected by this card's effect becomes the attack target of your "Transcendant" monster. After Battle Damage is calculated, if your opponent's monster is destroyed by battle, it is discarded from your opponent's hand and flipped face-down.

[spoiler=Effect]This card can only be equipped to a "Transcendant" monster that is in your hand, Graveyard, or is removed from play, and is able to attack using its effect. When the equipped monster deals Battle Damage to your opponent, pick up the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck. For each Monster Card picked up by this card's effect with an ATK lower than the equipped monster's ATK, deal damage to your opponent equal to the difference in ATK between that monster and the equipped monster. When the equipped monster is flipped face-down, destroy this card and flip it face-down.

[spoiler=Effect]You can discard this card from your hand to activate 1 of the following effects:

- Draw 1 card from your Deck for every 2 of your cards that are face-down in your Graveyard or removed from play.

- Destroy 1 card on the field. None of your monsters on the field can declare an attack during the turn this effect is activated.

Note from below, restated in the opening post for clarification:

"No, it's flipped face-down while in the Graveyard (Warrior and Phantom) or in the "removed from play zone" (Sorceress) and cannot return to the field or hand while face-down. It's a condition similar to the card that's brought in by Different Dimension Capsule. If the Capsule is destroyed before retrieving the card, I believe the card is stuck and unretreivable by any effects. Thus, after attacking twice with these monsters from their respective zones, they're flipped face-down and unable to be accessed again to recycle their effects or anything.

They "transcend" into the "removed from playability" zone, if you will. >_>"

I kind of like the idea that they promote, having more options than just the field to declare an attack with. A good option for turning your opponent's monster removal against them.

lol' date=' thank you for explaining the 'flip face down' part...It was confusing me..

A very interesting idea...I wouldn't mind seeing more.

Thanks. I'm actually seeking out pictures for a few more support cards.

Pics don't match each other

Sorceress does.

Phantom wasn't the perfect match, but the idea is visible. A gentleman's body that is "appearing to" rot away as the phantom inside emerges. Something like that?

Warrior isn't the greatest match, but the purple gas stuff seemed to portray the transcendence idea fairly well, and the guy looked kind of warrior/ninja-ish?

Irregardless, I could care less about pictures. I try to make them match the name somewhat well, I couldn't care less about how good they look.

More cards, including support, to come.

I've gotten into this awesome mode where I try to make as many cards as I can that break conventional rules.

"Attacking from the field is overrated."

"Attacking monsters that are ON the field is overrated."

"Equipping Equip Spells to monsters on the field is overrated."

"Heck, the field itself is overrated."

<_<

I want to make some kind of Set with someone else, as all of the ideas I've had for cards recently are very stale. I'm not a very creative card maker, really. This was a random idea I had, and it's the only set I want to focus on.

I have a lot more fun rating, I guess. :/
