The Day of Black Sun and Sozin's Comet

The first card doesn't need to state "While this card is face-up on the field" since it's a Continuous Spell Card, making the statement redundant, since Continuous Spells already remain face-up on the field. >_>

Also, why hate on FIRE monsters? Hate on LIGHT monsters instead. Really, the sun is more geared towards light than fire. :(

The second card is hilarious and easily broken. Two turns of doubled ATK for all of my fire monsters? My opponent will/should be dead way before I let two turns pass. >_>

Pointless followed by broken.

3/10.

They are Avatar cards. During the Eclipse, the Firebenders got stronger. That's why it focuses on FIRE monsters. Not to mention all your opponent's FIRE monster double to you know... but for a limited time.

Excuse me while I conveniently go find a player who uses FIRE monsters.

Also, why would you play the card if your opponent had FIRE monsters on the field? It's an OTK card, and nothing but it. You play that when you have FIRE monsters ready to rampage your opponent and swarm out for a one-turn kill.

And okay, I didn't actually think about Avatar. The first card makes sense then, but it's still uncool to hate on FIRE monsters when Water Dragon already does it. =(
