Bloodrun
It could be true, or, you can resort to the things you can see, and make a statement from that.First of which being, there is an atenna, which can suggest it was being controlled by a remote control. Secondly, once the brain is removed from a body, it is not considered living tissue, because the second its host dies, there is no blood pumping through the brain, to consider it a living organism. Raelen
unless you're a computer programmer and you can reprogram it to do your bidding Agreed. That would be sweet. ^_^"Do this, mouse brain thingamajig!"
ragnarok1945
yeah but remember, this has a brain in it. It's not a 100% computer program, so you can only reprogram it so far
Raelen
Well, you could alter the DNA in the brain to make the "robot" act differently. As they said, the robot acts differently with each brain used.
ragnarok1945
that can be dangerous as you could damage the brain and the robot could end up malfunctioning and just end up killing anyone that moves
Raelen
that can be dangerous as you could damage the brain and the robot could end up malfunctioning and just end up killing anyone that moves That's why you start with small robots. ^_^Plus, you could just plug in another brain. ragnarok1945
you also make sure they don't have weapons installed. Still, it would be nice if one of your loved ones got such a body and could stay with you longer
Raelen
Well, the robot only lives as long as the brain can, so it would die in the same amount of time.Plus, if this has been a hoax, I'm going to scream.
ragnarok1945
then you'll be needing to put the heart, brain, and spinal cord into the cybernetic body
Raelen
No one;s that smart or perfectly coordinated. It would take a lot of careful effort.
ragnarok1945
and that's something our technology is still far away from right now anyway
Raelen
Yes, thank goodness. I think that would be creepy.
ragnarok1945
no, just a little sci-fi. When we do get the technology for this, we'll get used to it soon
Raelen
Sounds a lot like the book Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. ^_^
ragnarok1945
*shrugs* Star Wars tech can already do that. In any case it'd be disrupting the natural way of life, which I'm not sure is a good thing
Raelen
It would be like man creating his own world which we can't successfully do. It's kind of like, when a species of animal goes extinct, we miss it only when it's gone. If we get rid of the people, we will start to miss real people when it's too late. ragnarok1945
yeah but that's where cloning comes into play, not conscious robots. With conscious robots it's so we can bring the exact life back. Remember, cloned genes do not contain memory cells
Raelen
I don't know much about clones, but cyborg people would not be the same at all. Who knows, cloning may be a big thing soon!
ragnarok1945
A cybernetic organism is not the same thing as a robot with a human brain. The former merely has a human disguise but is 100% machine
Raelen
Which would be even less real.
ragnarok1945
you want the human essence to be preserved in the robot in the first place. That is the original intention
