Many people, like me, have been wondering when the Earth will just... die out. 2012? 2050? 2100? Later? Maybe tomorrow? Who knows? But I think that it is sooner than we think. Many things are happening that is making the Earth weaker.

A. Global warming is melting polar ice caps, which flow into the oceans. They expect a few inches rise every year from 2010 on. This means BIG trouble for coastal cities. And a lotttttta people live in coastal cities.

B. Global warming is extending our summer & spring (in America), which means the Hurricane, Tornado and Tsunami season is being extended. They expect in 2100, Hurricane season will range from early May to late October! Yikes!

C. Drilling for oil and gas is disrupting the flow of the Earth. Will this do anything? Not much. But once we run out of oil, what are we going to do. We can't wait until who-knows-when to find an alternative fuel. And when oil runs out, no one is gonna wanna walk to school.

D. Obesity and diseases are spreading like crazy. If this keeps up with the expected numbers, we will die out quickly.

E. Other countries and regions are suffering from poverty and AIDS. If we don't help them, more people will die from AIDS and other horrible diseases I would not like to mention.

F. The war (not just in Iraq, all wars) are killing more and more and more troops each day. I cannot say we can STOP wars, per se, but we can make an effort to stop some wars and back out of some wars.

When taking these six things to mind, I think that the Earths population will be diminsed really quickly. I doubt we can live under these conditions much longer. Please discuss.

Bleh....

The world isn't going to "end." I highly doubt we will ever even die out. Unless some horrid natural disaster occurs, in which case I suppose we could be killed :/. But seriously, the earth itself will never end. And I highly doubt that life will end.

When you think about it' date=' everything that we do is killing us. Drilling for oil is killing us. Going into wars is killing us. Not helping people with AIDS is killing us. All of these things are killing us, so won't we all just drop down dead one day?

[/quote']

No, because for every person who dies, another 2 are born. :/

And honestly. Every thing is nature. We, as people/animals, do what we must to survive. So isn't it nature?

Global warming is mostly just politic banter, nothing else.

The Earth heats up ever so often, and we're long due for that.

B. Global warming is extending our summer & spring (in America)' date=' which means the Hurricane, Tornado and Tsunami season is being extended. They expect in 2100, Hurricane season will range from early May to late October! Yikes![/quote']

See previous rebuttal; it's completely natural.

I walk to wherever I need to go.

America's fatties need the exercise anyway.

D. Obesity and diseases are spreading like crazy. If this keeps up with the expected numbers' date=' we will die out quickly.[/quote']

Kill them; simplest solution.

E. Other countries and regions are suffering from poverty and AIDS. If we don't help them' date=' more people will die from AIDS and other horrible diseases I would not like to mention.[/quote']

Helping isn't helping, mostly people don't know how to help.

F. The war (not just in Iraq' date=' all wars) are killing more and more and more troops each day. I cannot say we can STOP wars, per se, but we can make an effort to stop some wars and back out of some wars.[/quote']

It's a good method of population control, what are you whining about?

Besides, it's natural instinct to compete with and destroy your fellows (to some extent, at least).

When taking these six things to mind' date=' I think that the Earths population will be diminsed really quickly. I doubt we can live under these conditions much longer. Please discuss.[/quote']

I don't see how Earth is going to get destroyed as a result of any of these.

Bah, if the world was going to end, it would have already. I find no reason to believe out of all the time in the world, it's US, or directly after us that the world ends. Besides, if a certain few sections of history are true, mankind has survived worse (or the exact same...) then this.

So, Unless my paranoia is true and i was put in this certain point of time for a reason  and I'm the only truly 'alive' person here, odds are it ain't gonna happen.

Wow, looking at the above three lines makes me feel selfish... unfortunately all the scientific reasons I know have been said, so that's about all I have to say.

Bah, the population of the world seems to be increasing, not decreasing. So I'm not too worried on that front. I'd say we need less people, but I really don't want to tempt fate...

The main one I was looking at there was oil, I don't have an answer there. Oil runs the economy pretty much. I would like someone to please explain how that's all just a scare; or we'll get over it easily, thanks.

Yes' date='those ways are indeed cutting down the world population, but humans are now aware of it & are trying to fix the problems...therefore, I think we could survive even longer if we try to save the earth

[/quote']

Save the Earth? SAVE the Earth? What kind of a moron thinks the Earth needs fixing?

So what if the humanity ended? What's there to justify our existence in the first place?

Nature screwed up and made us, it's about we screwed up and ended ourselves.

^^ No.

It is us who did not evolve past nature, the human brain was the most Nature could do, but it cursed us with Darwinistic instinct, rather than the will to follow the new found religions of the time which taught peaceful and indifferent society. Instead, we gave rise to people like Constantine, King James, Mohammad, Richard the Lionheart, and denied our Monks and Rabbi's in the name of leaders, wealth and pride.

We failed to reach equality, and if the human race's annihilation is unavoidable, then it is so, but if enough can die so that we can achieve this better new world order, then it will be so.

Either way, we're not going to die from war or Nuclear Weapons.

There will be two killers.
money1.jpg

Greed.
light-virus-1.jpg

Bioterrorism.

I will give each and every one of these responses an answer that will blow this question out of the water.

A) Global Warming is FAKE. The polar ice caps melt and re-freeze over a necessary period of time. Examples? First we had when the earth was first created, then we had the Ice Age.

B) If you didn't get enough about Global Warming in the above answer, then I'll explain why your natural disaster excuse to the world ending is fake here in Statement B. Natural Disasters are just that, Natural. They're going to happen, no matter what scientists can cook up.

C) We have plenty of Re-usable energy sources on the planet that we can use and use over and over again. Examples : Solar, Wind, Hydro Electricity, ect.

D) Deseise is Natural, and sometimes, medicine just can't cure that. I understand that. But Obesity? It's called Exercise. If the entire planet really gets that fat, the goverment will just put everybody under Exercise Crisis or mass Lypo Suction.

E) Poverty is going to happen no matter what. People who are poor will remain poor unless they decide to get an education and make something of themselves that way they are no longer in a position of where they are poor. As for the AIDS, this is probably cruel but true, if you just let them die off and not have sexual interaction with people who do, AIDS/HIV will die off. ON THE CONTRARY, AIDS/HIV mostly originate in places like Africa. Besides, we're getting closer to a cure each and every day. What do you think the Scientists do with all of that goverment funding, spend it on Car Insurance?

F) Sometimes, War is just Necessary. Peace isn't going to solve everyone's problems. It is natural; as humans; to be willing to fight or argue over things with weaponry.

And to top it all off, there is a lot of other things besides what you listed that could come to the end of the planet. The best that you listed was Desiese.

And besides, for those who are going to die, just let them die as a natural part of life and decrease the surplus of the country as stated above.

Regards, IFL.

Unless we start flingging H-Bombs at each other' date=' I seriously doubt the world will end within the next 100 - 500 years. Even with the given circumstances I just don't think that will be enough to cease life on earth.

[/quote']

The "world" isn't going to end until the sun funking implodes and swallows up this little blue ball.

Stop being wrong, seriously.
