Azmania2260
Hey guys, I know I haven't been on since 1016, but I'd just like to share my new theory. Sorry if this may have been done, but I don't know. The theory should be good, but pass your opinions.Look below and discuss. The Theory of Deck Base and FormulaeThis edition is the final edition in the theory of deck power and formulae. This edition will include all four aspects; Deck Power Level, Deck Level, Duellist Level and Overall Duellist Power. Abbreviation Stands forPDF Perfect Deck FormulaDBF Deck Base FigureRCT Rare Cards TotalR Rare (card)SuR Super Rare (card)Ultr-R Ultra Rare (card)ScR Secret Rare (card)Ulti-R Ultimate Rare (card)GhR Ghost Rare (card)GoR Gold Rare (card)Pp Power Point (measurement)L Level (measurement)P.L. Duellist LevelODP Overall Duellist Power(D) Deck(ED) Extra Deck(SD) Side Deck-m- Monsters-s- Spells-t- Traps-f- Fusion Monsters-sy- Synchro Monsters-r- Ritual(These above abbreviations will be vital for use in this article.)Perfect Deck FormulaPerfect Deck Formula is the base of all equations involving Deck Formulae. It is important to understand how to calculate it. The base equation is: (m) + (s) + (t) + ( r ) = (D) This equation is used for all main decks. There is a separate equation for Side Decks and Extra Decks: (f) + (sy)= (ED)(m) + (s) + (t) + ( r ) + (f) + (sy) = (SD) Note that for Main Decks it is optional to add Ritual Monsters, and it is optional for Fusion, Ritual, and Synchro to be added in the side deck. That depends on the build of the deck. So, to calculate the PDF, replace the letters with numbers, the numbers of each type of card and calculate the DBF.(21) + (11) + (7) + (1) = 4040 = 40PDF = 40 However, we have still not added the Extra Deck and Side Deck formulae. So for the actual Perfect Deck Formula, we will calculate the Extra Deck and Side Deck formulae. (7) + (3) = 10 (3) + (3) + (3) + (1) + (2) + (3) = 15If we now total all the formulae, we get:40 + 10 + 15 = 65 = PDF Deck Base FigureNow that we have the PDF, we can use it to calculate the DBF. The DBF is used in various Deck Formulae. To calculate it, we divide the PDF by the number of types of cards in the whole PDF. This is: 65pp / 5 = L13 Therefore, our DBF is L13. Calculating Power Level, Deck Level, Duellist Level and ODP1. Power Level To calculate the power level, we must multiply the PDF by the DBF and then add that to RCT multiplied by the DBF. The base equation is: (PDF x DBF) + (RCT x DBF) In order to calculate the RCT, we total the value of each rarity.Rarity Value (Pp) R (rare) 3SuR (super rare) 5Ultr-R (ultra rare) 10ScR + Ulti-R (secret + ultimate rare) 20GhR + GoR (ghost + gold rare) 50 Our PDF contains 2 rare, 2 super rare, 3 secret rare and 1 gold rare. That totals to: 6 + 10 + 60 + 50 = 126 Now that we have our RCT, we can calculate the final Power Level:65 x 13 + 126 x 13 = 2483pp Therefore, our power level in this example is 2483pp. 2. Deck LevelTo calculate the Deck level, we divide the Power Level by the DBF to the power of the number of types of cards there are in the whole PDF, multiplied by 1000% (To get a whole number level): Base EquationDeck Level = P.L. / DBF (?)Final Equation2483pp / 13 (5) x 1000 = L 6.7 >> rounds to 7 We know have the Deck Level – Level 7. 3. Duellist LevelIn order to calculate the Duellist level, we are required to record results of duels in a week. The duellist level must be calculated every week and updated every week. To calculate, we multiply the number of duels won in a 5 day period multiplied by the Deck level. Week 1: 10 x 7 = L70Week 2: 8 x 7 = L56Week 3: 11 x 7 = L77 When asked to state a Duellist Level, the most recent week should be given. 4. Overall Duellist PowerThe overall Duellist power is the final figure that shows the power of a duellist in an annum. It is calculated once a year, and also requires recording duel wins and losses. To calculate it, we multiply the Power Level by the Deck Level and add the (most recent) Duellist level then divide it by the total number of duel wins in a year. Base EquationODP = Power Level x Deck Level + Duellist Level / (?)Final Equation2483 x 7 + 77 / 40 = L 438.375 Our final level is 438.375. When rounding decimal places for ODP, round to three decimal places. These figures can be used to show who has a better record and who is a better duellist.Bump. Azmania2260
lolz xD Why do you feel it's confusing? Have a look using the abbreviations, it's really simple.
Skuldur
Still Confusing, too many abbrevations. Mah brain still hurts

Larxene
I got tired of reading when I got to the part about deck formulas But it sounds like this belongs in the Deck or TCG sections
Azmania2260
Oh well. It looks better on Word, it seems confusing here.
