Each time your opponent activates a Trap Card, put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). By removing 3 Firewave Counters from this card, you can activate one of the following effects:

- Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of the destroyed monster.

- Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower FIRE monster from your hand or Graveyard. This monster and the the Special Summoned monster cannot attack this turn.

Picture made by wolfmaster (so "overused pic" is no excuse for low ratings ;) )

Rate and comment, as usual. Any suggestions for improvements that can be made to the card are welcome, as well (the name is a bit corny, admittedly...)!

Being able to destroy a monster and inflict damage, then being able to exploit that is a bit cheap... If you want me to change it back, that's fine with me.

Most people only run 4-7 traps, which means that this card will go off a maximum of 2 times if the opponent plays ALL their traps, one of which will mostly likely kill this card. In most instances, this might as well be a 1700 Normal monster. Not enough bang for your buck if you're lucky enough for him to survive long enough to go off.

Hm, I'll have to consider that...

Each time your opponent activates a Spell Card (if it targets this card, its effect is negated), put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). By removing 3 Firewave Counters from this card, you can activate one of the following effects:

Done!

Each time your opponent activates a Spell Card (if it targets this card, its effect is negated), put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Main Phase 1, you can activate one of the following effects by removing the corresponding number of Firewave Counters from this card:

1- Increase this card's ATK by 500.

2- Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower FIRE monster from your hand or Graveyard. The monster that was Special Summoned cannot attack or use its effect (if any) during this turn.

3- Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of the destroyed monster. Skip your Battle Phase this turn.

Update complete. I took into consideration all of your suggestions.

more than 4-7 traps too' date=' for a balanced deck of 40 cards. 10 are normally traps.

makes this card stronger and more usable.

[/quote']

If your deck has 10 Traps, you've already lost, unless you're playing Chain Burn.

3x Solemn

1x Crush Card

1x Torrential [MAYBE]

And sometimes there's Trap Dustshoot or main'd Bottomless Trap Holes. That's REALLY all you'll see in the T16 of a Shonen. Maybe Waboku if it's Gladiators, but I HIGHLY doubt it.

I like the name for the counters. Deliciously evil.

Maybe change it's name to:

Blaiyz' date=' the Cybernetic Flare Warrior

(Sounds better in my opinion)

Aside, 8.5/10 good job. ^_^

"deliciously evil" nice quote, anyways I don't think it's overpowered because your opponent won't use all their spell cards in the duel so it's balanced.
