Pokemon red problum

Its just because the internal battery ran out. Everyone was like 'OMG OH NOES' when it happened to Gold and Silver, but only like 7 people played Red and Blue long enough to kill the battery. You can either buy another one and start another game, or buy another one, disassemble both cartridges, transplant the batteries, and continue the game you already had.

My gold works fine. I found a secound red version in this box but they are diffrent on of them says DMG-APAE-USA-1 and the other says DMG-APAE-USA I know it doesn't have anything to do with it working or not but does any one know why they are differnt. They ares are on both of them are from 1997 or something. I found if I play it upside down it works.

If you are having that many problems with the version, I would highly recommend replacing it.

You can usually find them on Ebay or collectors stores online.

As far as the gameboy, check it against other games. If the other games are having problems as well, replace the gameboy, then check the new one against pokemon red, if it still doesn't work, replace the game.

Hm... it's probably VERY old. I suggest getting Firered of Leafgreen for GBA' date=' since they are almost exact copies.

It not that, on Ebay, it's easy to find. Or ask your friends to see if they have one stashed somewhere.

Or you could find one in a yard, garage or rummage sale.
