StevenBray Posted October 5, 2008 Report Share Posted October 5, 2008 OCG seems right can't see anything wrong on the card - except maybe "vacant" rather than "empty" when talking about the Spell & Trap Zones (not sure why, I just think vacant sounds more right and better). Pic is nice, very nice stuff. Effect is OP (no doubt), but all the Dark Synchros are like that (I say all, there's only been 1 (as far as I know)), and the effect is effective and dangerous. Very nice stuff, however (if you wanted to) you could decrease the Life Point increase to 1000 rather than 1200 (but it's not that important). Now (not my usual style, but...) critique on your card recolouring: It is a good recolouring, nice effort, however I think the real thing is a slightly darker gray than yours - I think you've used a middle gray and it is more of a darker gray than that. I may be wrong and it is perfect, but that's just my opinion and you can take it or leave it as you desire. Card Rating: 8/10 - very nice addition to the (very small reservoir) of Dark Synchros, hope to see more fine Dark Synchros like this one. Recolour is not included in this rating.Recolour Rating: 7/10 - It's a nice effort, a damn sight better than all the other attempts I've seen, but I still maintain could be a bit darker gray used next time. P.S. Okay there is a proviso on this rating, I should lower the rating since it's OP and I can't really stand OP. However as discussed Dark Synchros are OP, however the power of the Dark Synchros could just be a plot device for the 5D's anime. Not taking away from the effectiveness and majesty of your work, but this point is bit of a concern to me. Also - Happy Birthday Chaotix, hope your day was an exciting one.
