Telling friends that they have died?

My best friend commited suicide last year.

 

We were talking on the phone the night before' date=' a usual conversation, and right before she hung up she said "Smile when I die."

 

I shook it off, cause the conversation we had was how people often told her to "Go die". She was a very cheerful and happy person, but she was always pushed around and abused. She just wanted to fullfil what those people have told her, to just "go die".

 

But I didn't realize she was serious.

 

So the next day, we were suppose to meet at the park like usual, and I see her stabbing herself with a knife.

Well, not exactly. She canceled the plan a half an hour before, but I went anyway out of ambition.

 

I told her I'd always be there for her. I was always there for her, but she lived with the pressure of so many people on her back. Her parents abused her, she didn't want to call child services cause she wanted to make her parents happy, her school life was torturous and since I wasn't at the same school as her, it was tough, and in the end, she just wanted to rid herself and make the majority of people happier that she's gone.

 

She thought about me, of course, but she also couldn't handle the pain of everythign else.

 

*shiver* Wow that's really rough. Even I got chills.

 

Life is just so cruel to such good people.

Marisa, I guess it proves that I'm cold hearted to not feel anything by that story. But I've known a few girls that have commited suicide. (And watched 1 die infront of me with nothing I could do.) But have you ever noticed that it's never the guys that commit suicide? They say they're going to but always back down.

Guys don't tell people more often then not.

They usually just kill themselves without much warning, leaving the family to ask "why?".

Guys don't tell people more often then not.

They usually just kill themselves without much warning, leaving the family to ask "why?".

 

Eh, I came close to killing myself before. But I wrote suicide poems to calm the need for suicide until it passed over.

And that's just the start. Mind you these are girls who live close to him IRL that he met on the internet.

Guys were always at the top priority compared to women.

 

In a sense, they're less emotional then girls and girls usually have it harder and give up while guys have it hard, but won't back down.

 

I'm not a fan of suicide, but it's better then the hell Hina was living through. If she ever hit 16, she'd be sold as a prostitute in Taiwon. It's a sad life.

 

EDIT: I was once a masochist or was "emo." I stopped cause Hina pulled me through those times. Yet, I couldn't help her. So now I'll live for her.

I feel sorry for you though.

 

Still,

I don't live in Australia.

 

Thing is, I'm pissed that he is alive..

He got me to belive I helped him kill himself, which, I don't even need to tell you what that can do to your find..and now I find out after 2 years of thinking that, he's alive.

Way to be a friend and tell me...
