Well, I've decided to make a card, my first card in over a month I believe, that I am going to use as an example to show people what is expected of people who enter the Card Makers Legacy 2008 contest.

 

I will be looking around this section for people to invite to the contest. If I see that someone has made a good card, they might get an invite.

When this card is Summoned, send the top card of your Deck to the Graveyard. If the card sent by this effect is a "Lightsworn" monster, draw 1 card. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Summoned, place 10 Firestorm Counters on this card. When your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card, you can send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. If at least 2 of the cards sent to the Graveyard are "Lightsworn" monsters, remove 1 Firestorm Counter from this card to negate the activation and effect of the card and destroy it.

Summoned means any kind of Summoned.

 

I made it a Pyro-Type because I didn't want it to be taken advantage of.

Lol, Pyro, even to protect it, is still random :P. Also, I agree with Icy about topdecking. It may be balanced, but I just don't think many people would use it ;)

I don't know why this card was given all of those low ratings, In a Lightsworn Deck this card fits in perfectly... maybe to make it a bit more powerful add an effect that places 1 Firestorm Counter on it during your Standby Phase? Or else you can remove 1 of the Lightsworn monsters sent to the Graveyard by it's effect to Special Summon the other (as long as it's Lvl 4 or lower). For now,

Good card. Though, the amount of cards from your deck that you will lose with it's effect isn't good. The ocg...is perfect...

And the effect is allright. I'm not really loving this card, but I'll admit it's good.

You basicly de-deck yourself for a unreasonable effect.

 

Also, I believe all human lightsworn monsters are female.

it's a good card it'll kick the crud out of anyone with lightsworn,so I feel a 13/13 coming on,and by the way,He's Lightsworn from the sound of it just backup.
