I wasn't going to comment' date=' since the card is for my contest, but I found a flaw that you may want to fix before the contest deadline tomorrow. Last Turn has this sentence in it's effect: "Select 1 monster on your side of the field and [b']send all other cards on the field and in their respective owner's hands to their respective Graveyards.[/b]" The bold part is what I'm touching on. Your card hinges on activating after your opponent summons a more powerful monster, but by the time they got around to summoning anything, this card would already be destroyed and gone by the effect of Last Turn.

 

Just thought I'd give you a heads up ;)

 

Damn, I was using a virtual card and it's effect was:

 

Both players send all monster cards on their side of the field to the Graveyard, then each player Special Summons 1 monster from their Deck, hand or Graveyard.

 

I'm afraid this heavy card editing will eject me from your contest.

Ah, now I see why you withdrew in the contest thread. You know, you could reword it as simply as this:

 

This card can only be activated when "Last Turn" is activated. If your opponent Summons a monster with an ATK more than the ATK of the monster on your side of the field due to the effect of "Last Turn", toss 1 coin. blah blah blah, etc.

 

I'd just hate to see you withdraw from a technicality ;)

No, I can't.

As you said, this card would be gone before it is activated.

 

EDIT: I had an Idea, if I add "This card can only be activated from your hand blah blah blah etc.

And change it to a Quick Play Spell Card instead?

No, I can't.

As you said, this card would be gone before it is activated.

And change it to a Quick Play Spell Card instead?

Technically, you could, if you change my suggestion to "This card can only be activated as a chain to "Last Turn"." That way, it resolves before Last Turn, leaving it's effects for when Last Turn resolves. Even if the card is destroyed by LT, it's not negated, so it's effects would still be there and usable.

 

Also, yeah, that Quick-Play Spell idea would work, as long as you activate Last Turn during your turn, otherwise you're not allowed to play QP spells from your hand ;)

This is dissappointing. You have a good Idea but if this card resolves before LT then how would you know what your opponent summoned?

My idea wouldn't work because LT can only be activated on your opponent's turn.

Contest isn't judged very highly on playablility (I suggest you learn the word. Usefullness sounds mean.)

 

The word is playability - I suggest you learn it...

 

The effect isn't so long... What are you people talking about? O_o

I guess that this card could be useful...(if you are lucky enough)

Arighty, I'd like to get something straight.

 

This card was made for a contest (IN OCTOBER) for a contest (IN OCTOBER) which rules stated it had to support a card that is nearly never used in current gameplay. I knew for a fact that nobody used this card for obvious reasons (BACK IN OCTOBER), so it was an ideal card to support. 1 more thing: THIS CARD WAS MADE IN OCTOBER, 4 months ago. I gotta go talk to huntie about the posting rights in this thread.
