To Become A Gym Leader...

Greetings Pokemon Trainers and future masters alike!

I, MasterOfMagicians have asked for your attention today for a very special request. I am looking for a number of trainers who can become Gym Leaders for a very special wifi - nintendo ds, pokemon saga.

 

Requirements:

As a gym leader, you would be required to complete many different tasks, all which will be explained below.

* Accept any and all challenges.

As a gym leader you are to be ready for any and all challenges that come your way. You do not have to conform to their schedule, however. You will pick the times that you are available for battling trainers who wish to obtain your gym's badge.

* Maintain a healthy team.

As a gym leader you are required to maintain a team of pokemon, ready for the battle. Your pokemon can be of any type, and any level. No items can be held by your pokemon and the use of legendaries will not be allowed by Gym Leaders or by Pokemon Trainers.

* Friendly Competition and Fairness is a must.

As a gym leader you will be held to a higher standard. You are responsible for reporting any and all battles to the Pokemon Committee for review. (More will be explained on the website).

 

How do you become a gym leader?

Very simple. Below this post, I would like all who wish to be gym leaders to post an application. As the number of gym leaders is limitless, I can guarantee 95% of all applications filed correctly, will become gym leaders.

 

What does the application have to look like?

Even simpler. The application is easy to fill and file through a post on this forum. Simply fill out the information below (in the format below - best to just copy and paste, then fill in the blanks) and submit.

 

Name: (Pokemon ID name required)

Times available: (make sure you put your time zone at the end of it. Example: 8:00pm - 10:00pm EST)

Team size: (how many pokemon you will be using. Can be anywhere from 1 to 6)

Team Levels: (you will be required to maintain pokemon between levels you select. Levels can range from 15 - 100)

Gym Badge Name: (yes, you have to make your own gym badge, name it, and submit it to me - just PM me a picture of it. Please do not use photobucket as I cannot view images posted through photobucket)

 

How the process works.

You will apply, you will get accepted (hopefully), then you will be PM'd a link that will have more information regarding the gym leader roles and responsibilities.

 

When you battle a trainer, after they have submitted a battle request (explained later), you will submit the battle to the Battle Committee prior to partaking in the battle, registering your team. They will be required to submit a request to the committee as well with their team.

You will both submit an after-battle report. It will look something like this:

Rampardos vs Houndoom - Trainer Win

Lapras vs Houndoom - Trainer Win

Glaceon vs Houndoom - Gym Leader Win

Trainer Wins Battle

Trainer awarded Gym Badge

 

After both trainer and gym leader have submitted an after battle report, committee will verify award of a badge, or denial of a badge.

After committee has spoken, it cannot be appealed.

If there is conflict between trainer and gym leader after battle reports, badge will not be awarded and trainer will battle member of committee. If trainer wins, trainer awarded gym badge.

 

When a trainer submits a battle request, they will submit 1 to the gym leader and 1 to the committee.

If battle takes place, and committee does not have battle report, gym badge will be revoked and note of it will be made in Master Gym Log.

 

Gym Leaders wishing to become a part of the Elite Four.

If you wish to be a part of the Elite Four, your Gym must have 30 wins under its belt minimum. The higher the number of wins, the better your chances of becoming an Elite Four.

More details will be posted later.

Basically,

You put in an app.

Become a gym leader.

Other people challenge you, and you give them a badge if they beat you.

An elite four and a pokemon league is already being put together by the committee. Dates haven't been chosen yet.

Once you have obtained a certain number of badges (committee is working with that) you are eligible to enter into the pokemon league.

Top three trainers in the pokemon league obtain badges.

 

This WHOLE thing is only for the pokemon diamond/pearl versions on nintendo ds.

Okay, breakin' it down barney style.

If you play pokemon diamond or pokemon pearl versions for the NINTENDO DS, you can apply using the format in the first post, to become a pokemon gym leader. What would happen is people would battle you over the WIFI Connection through the NINTENDO DS. If they win, you would give them a gym badge (that you create - since you are a gym leader). Once they have enough gym badges, they can enter into the pokemon league, which is being put together by the Pokemon League Committee (members of the committee were already chosen).

 

The process by which you will conduct battles is briefly explained above in the first post, and will be explained in more detail once you have applied and been accepted.
