But, its a double battle with Hypno, which knows trick room and disable. Uses trick room first turn, and disable when Zapdos uses protect! It is? :D:?P:D I'll play along; but Zapdos has Darkrai as a partner, Darkrai uses Dark Void, puts Donphan to sleep, uses Dark Pulse on Hypno. Pikachu
Question: 7Pokemanz: PikachuAnswer: Another toughie? Wait, it's 2 points XD. Pretty simple with 3 points: 1. Zapdos' main electric attacks won't work, which only aloows move such as Drill Peck or Agility. Ground type monsters are usually strong and won't back out to some flying moves. 2. Zapdos may know how to use Protect, so what? A bash of a strong rock attack could do the job. 3. Speed? Not much use, it's only useful for quick moves, but most of these are weak. Meh, hope I answered it.
bastionsgirl
Pokemon: FroslassPokequestion: 7Answer: hmmm, first of all, Zapdos's electric attacks aren't gonna do anything against a Ground-type, not to mention its Sp. Atk is higher than its attack. Also, if Zapdos uses Roost when the opponent just happens to use a Ground-type move like Eathquake, Zapdos may faint due to the fact that it loses its Flying-type for one turn after using the healing moveDifficulty:

Rock type moves may work, but Zapdos WILL attack first. That doesn't matter. My pokemon has enough DEF and HP to withstand. Zapdos can learn Ice Beam What? That's wrong. It would take away from the Birds being Ice, Fire, and Electric. That would be like Moltres learning Thunderbolt!

You are right, Ice Beam cannot be learned. So see point A.
