Lore: When this face-up card is removed from the field, place it face-up in your Deck and shuffle it. While this card remains face-up in your Deck, once per turn, you can pay 800 Life Points to destroy 1 card on the field. You cannot declare an attack during a turn you activate this effect. When this face-up card is the top card of your Deck, remove it from play.

I do not own the art on this card. Credit is given in place of the edition.

opponent always cut to the bottom/top accordingling to the effect

I seem to be having difficulty reading english today. My opponent doesn't play any part in this card's effect - it is sent to my deck face-up, and it works as long as it remains there. No cutting of any sort involved... Or did I miss your point completely?

Deck cutting = shuffling. When your opponent shuffles, they can usually manipulate the shuffling in some fashion to move certain parts of the deck to other certain parts.

That raises an interesting question. When I use an effect, say, Sangan, to fetch something from my own Deck, who shuffles my Deck afterwards? Is it me, or my opponent? I always thought my opponent only touched my Deck before the Duel started and any shuffling involved during the actual duel was done only by the respective Deck's owner...
