Coming the Shadow Monsters! New Type and Rules! (Pic overused, I know..)

Rules of the Shadow Monsters:

- The Shadow Monster is characterized from the BLACK color of the card.

- The Shadow Monsters comes inserted in the Main Deck; so they are included in the minimal attainment of 40 cards and maximum of 60 cards.

- Every Shadow Monster makes reference to an Effect Monster that does not possess effects about its own Summon; the reference monster is written in the effect of the Shadow Monster.

- The Monster Shadow can be Summoned only by Shadow Summon.

- After the Shadow Summon, every Shadow Monster gains ATK, DEF and effect of its monster of reference.

- Every Shadow Monster has an own Cost of Maintenance, deriving from the properties of its monster of reference.

Rules for the Shadow Summon:

- To Summon a Shadow Monster, it is necessary to control the face-up monster of reference on own side of the field.

- It is possible to Summon a Shadow Monster only in the successive turns after its monster of reference has been Summoned.

- During the Main Phase 1, it is necessary to declare of wanting make a Shadow Summon; after that, the Shadow Monster can be Summoned from hand or Deck on the field by paying a number of Life Points equal to the Level of the Shadow Monster to Summon x 200.

Other rules:

- When on the field there is a Shadow Monster, its monster of reference cannot be attacked and it is unaffected from the effects of Spell, Trap and Monster Effect Cards.

- When on the field there is a Shadow Monster, its monster of reference cannot attack or use its own effect.

- If the reference monster is removed from the field, its Shadow Monster will be destroyed.

- A player cannot be control more than 1 Monster Shadow on the field.

- The Shadow Summon is considered a Special Summon.

Great idea. I like the recoloring, the pictures are great, although some are overused. The OCG/grammar is also good.

 

Can't wait to see more of these.

I like the recolors, very good idea, but it should be:

 

"The controller of this card must pay [300-800] Life Points during their respective End Phase. If he/she cannot, destroy this card."

 

Or something like that. 300-800 were only for these cards. 8.5/10.

to be honest, i like how indepth your rules are, but i dont like the concept at all...

 

pay life points and get a free monster from the deck? how absurd...

 

its like a free upgrade. -_-

 

and, being honest, i dont like your recolour. partially because i did black cards too, and they look way better, but because all it looks like you did was to invert it and send it to black.. the white letters dont look the best. :|

 

well, this gets a: C+ for effort, i just dont think that it is a coherent effort. :|

probably you have reason to the cost of summon kale, i have to change the condition and make more cost.. thanks for council! :) but i think that you have to comprise really the strategy of these cards..

for the color, i don't have a graphic program, but these cards are good on the recoloring.. i have seen your black cards, and mine aren't lower than your cards sincerally.. ;)
