Tickle Me Emo
I hope this topic isnt illegal. Someone at locals told me that Hobbie League cards are being banned from tournament play, and a bunch of other people are saying they are to, but my Lolocals ref says they arent as far as hes heard. Are they being banned?
GenzoTheHarpist
That would be quite strange. I don't see why such a thing would occur.
Tickle Me Emo
That would be quite strange. I don't see why such a thing would occur. someone said its because Hobbies weigh more than regular cards bt someone else said its cause they weigh less and are bendable allowing you to manipulate your deck. These two statements obviously cancel eachother out.
「tea.leaf」
No, they don't. Hobby League parallels bend differently than regular cards. This feature can be used stack your deck when shuffling.
Tickle Me Emo
^However what i ment was the first statement meaning they were thicker would make em harder to bend and the second one would make em easier. The harder to bend would make it harder to stack your deck. So yea Tea you hear that they will be banned from tournament play?
CrabHelmet
People who want to stack will stack regardless of whether or not the easiest-to-stack cards are banned, so banning the easiest-to-stack cards is pointless. Also, I have heard no such thing. Then again, I only get my news through the forums and the usual sites with OCG cards.
GenzoTheHarpist
Well until some solid information is released this doesn't really mean anything.
JesusofChaos™
Never heard this before but i have to admit hobby league cards are ridiculous easy to stack
Kale
that would be ridiculous. most of the time the hobby cards are the places were the normal players, as in the ones that dont spend a lot of money on the originals, to get the old cards that are reprinted. having to have some of your best cards taken out at a tournament because of where they come from because some people stack them is ludicrous. how would they enforce that anyway? seems like a ridiculous thing to try... well, thats my two bits. ^_^ ~K

Kale
well, what i mean is, if some of the cards that you have from hobby league, and they were also from an old set, would they just ask you to whip out your deck and prove that it was original? this seems like card racism. XD
