CARDS YOU MUST MAKE:

1st Card:

Your first card must be named "Cherry Blossom". It can be a Monster, Spell, or Trap card. It must have 1 effect of its own, it also must have 1 effect that Special Summons this card.

This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Cherry Blossom". When this card is Summoned you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower PLANT-type monster from your Deck and equip this card to it. The equipped monster gains 200 ATK and DEF each time you draw a card. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.

The method in which you choose to Special Summon this card is entirely up to you.

2nd CARD.

Your second card must be a PLANT-type monster, Level 4 or lower. It must be able to be normal summoned. You must incorporate ONE of the following effects onto it.

*A token system

or

*A direct-damaging system

3rd Card

Your third card must be a Spell or Trap card. Preferably, but not necessarily, a continuous one. It must have some effect which involves PLANT-type monsters.

I graded each card one at a time using my rubric, as well as my own discretion.

I did not add up the scores until the end...

This was a BIG squeaker, .5 separated 1st and 2nd, and .5 separated 3 and 4.

You can activate this card when 1 Plant-Type monster you control is targeted by 1 of your opponent's Spell or Trap Cards. Negate and return that Spell or Trap Card back to your opponent's hand by remove from play 1 "Cheery Sprite" from your hand or Deck. If your opponent activates the Spell or Trap Card that was negated and returned by this card, remove from play 1 card in your hand and Special Summon the removed "Cheery Spirit" to your field in Defense Position. When this card is destroyed, if the card you removed from you hand to Special Summon "Cherry Sprite" is "Cherry Sprite", Speical Summon it to your field. When this card is destroyed by a Spell Card, you can release any number of "Cherry Sprite" from your field or Graveyard to increase your Life Points by 1000 x the number of released "Cherry Sprite".

Once per turn, you can decrease the ATK of this card by 300 to Special Summon 1 "Decay Token"(Plant-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 100/DEF 100) to 1 empty Monster Card Zone on your opponent's field in Defense Position. This token can only be Tributed for a Tribute Summon by paying 800 Life Points. Decrease the ATK of all monsters adjacent to the "Decay Token" by 400. If "Decay Token" is destroyed by battle, you lose 500 Life Points. When this card is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard, you can add it to your hand by discarding 1 Plant-Type monster in your hand.

Increase the ATK and DEF of all Plant-Type monsters on the field by 400. During each of your Standby Phases, you can target 1 monster on the field. If that monster changes its Battle Position during your turn, destroy it. Once per turn, if you have no Monster Card in your hand during your Main Phase, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard to your field and remove it from play at the end of your turn. The Special Summoned Monster cannot be Tributed. Return the removed monster to your Graveyard at your next Standby Phase. When the controller of this card takes Battle Damage or Effect Damage, you can Tribute 1 Plant-Type monster on your field to reduce the damage by 400 x the Level of the monster.

My first card is a bit simple, but adds some some support...

When this card is Summoned successfully, add 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard to your Deck. Shuffle your Deck afterwards. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can remove it from play to Special Summon 1 "Cherry Sprite" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

Girl is by ChemicalAlila and the background is by Enchantedgal, both from dA.

Decrease this card's ATK and DEF by 700 when it is battling a FIRE monster. Increase this card's ATK and DEF by 300 for each WATER monster in an adjacent Monster Zone. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 Seedling Tokens (Plant-Type/EARTH/3 Star/ATK 0/DEF 1000). If you use a Seedling Token as a Tribute, pay 1000 Life Points x the number of Seedling Tokens Tributed. During the End Phase of the second turn after the Seedling Tokens were Special Summoned, remove them and Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand or Deck whose Level is equal to or less than the total number of Seedling Tokens removed x4.

During each player's Draw Phase, increase their Life Points by 500 for each Plant-Type monster on their field. Whenever a monster destroys a Plant-Type monster by battle, decrease the attacking monster's ATK and DEF by 300. Once per turn, you can pay 1000 Life Points to add 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard to your Deck. Your Deck is then shuffled.

I rather liked this card's name...

"foresta amazonnica" means "cloud forest" in italian, according to an online dictionary. The rest is bullcrap that I made up.

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of 'White Cherry Blossoms'. When this monster attacks, put a Spell Counters on it (Max. 3). This card gains 300 ATK and DEF for every Spell Counter on it. By tributing this card with 3 Spell Counters on it, you can Special Summon 1 'Cherry Sprite' from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard. If this card attacks your opponents Life Points directly, immediately Special Summon 1 'Plant Fairy' from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

[spoiler=[b]Card 2: 'Plant Fairy'[/b]]

[spoiler=[b]Effect[/b]]This card may also be Special Summoned by the effect of 'Cherry Blossom'. When this card is Summoned to the Field, place 1 'Sprite Token' (ATK/1000 DEF/1000) in DEF position in every unoccupied Card Zone on your opponents side of the field. These monsters cannot attack and cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. Whenever a 'Sprite Token' is destroyed, this card gains 500 ATK and DEF. In turn, your opponent loses 500 Life Points for every 'Sprite Token' destroyed. When all 'Sprite Token' monsters are destroyed, remove this card from play and your opponent gains Life Points equal to it's final ATK.

* Whenever you draw a card(s) from your Deck, Special Summon to your field, 1 Sakura-Petal Token (EARTH attribute, 1 star, Plant-Type, ATK/0, DEF/0) in Defense Position. This monster gains 200 ATK for each Sakura-Petal Token on the field.

Effect: This monster cannot be normal summoned or set. This monster cannot be special summoned except by the effect of 'Budding Blossoms'. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard you may summon 1 level 4 or lower Plant-type monster to your side of the field in face up attack position. A monster Summoned by this cards effect gains 500 ATK and DEF.

Effect: When this monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard you may Special Summon up to 2 "Seed Hopper" from your Deck. When this card is Special Summoned inflict 200 points of direct damage to your opponent.

Effect: 3 turns after this card is activated destroy this card. When this card is activated destroy all Monsters on your side of the field. Then you can Special Summon up to 5 'Blossom tokens' (level1, EARTH, Plant-type, 400 ATK, 500 DEF) in face up attack position. When this card is destroyed, destroy all 'Blossom Tokens' on your side of the field. You can then Special Summon 1 EARTH monster whose level is equal to or less than the number of 'Blossom Tokens' destroyed by this cards effect from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard. While this face up card is on the field all Plant-type monsters on the field gain 400 DEF.
