As the title says, you can submit ideas for cards, and if you do and I accept it, you will receive +rep. If you give me good advice through constructive criticism, you may also be +rep. Please Note: I can only give out reps per day. If I forget to rep you, please remind me nicely. ^_^

Chieftain and Assimilated Monsters

 

Chieftain – These monsters are a sub-type able to Special Summon Assimilated Monsters from your Remove from Play Zone. There is no set way to Special Summon Assimilated Monsters, there many ways, each Chieftain Monster has a different way, stated in its effect.

 

Assimilated – These monsters start out in your Removed from Play Zone at the beginning of the duel. If a card effect involves the Removed from Play Zone, they are not counted, it’s as if they aren’t even there. You can have a limit of 20 Assimilated Monsters in your Removed from Play Zone. They are based off of monsters in the regular card game, only darker looking.

 

These monsters usually have their effects do with the Removed from Play Zone.

[spoiler=#22, Dark Magician Girl - Assimilated]

This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of an Chieftain Monster. When this card is Special Summoned, add 1 Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, when this card inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points, you can remove 1 monster in your Graveyard from play. If you activate this effect, inflict 300 Points of damage to your opponent.

This card cannot be destroyed by battle while you control at least 1 Assimilated or Chieftain Monster (damage calculation is applied normally). Any time you have to pay Life Points to Special Summon a Assimilated Monster, you can half the points payed. Once per turn, you can increase the ATK of this card by 200x the number of Assimilated Monsters you control until the end of the turn.

This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a Chieftain Monster. When this card is Special Summoned, you can remove up to 3 monsters in your Graveyard from play. For each monster you removed by this effect, this card gains 400 ATK. When this declares an attack, you can remove 1 monster in your Graveyard from play to increase the ATK of this card by 200 until the end of the turn.

Pay 1500 Life Points. Activate only during your Battle Phase. All Assimilated Monsters you control can attack twice during this Battle Phase. At the end of your Battle Phase, destroy all Assimilated Monsters you control and send them to the Graveyard.

Once per turn, by sending 1 face-down card you control to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster from your Removed From Play Zone. This card cannot be destroyed by battle while you control at least 1 Assimilated Monster (damage calculation is applied normally). When this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can remove from play 1 Assimilated Monster you control to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned, inflict 1000 points of damage to your Life Points.

Discard 1 card. Remove 1 monster your opponent controls to your Removed From Play Zone. That monster is treated as an Assimilated Monster.

Activate only when you control no Chieftain Monsters. Special Summon 2 "Vice Cheftain Tokens" (Machine-Type/DARK/Level 2/ATK 500/DEF 500) in Defense Position on your side of the field. Then Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster with 1500 ATK of less from your Removed From Play Zone, excluding Summoning conditions. That monster is removed from play at the End Phase of this turn.

Activate only when your opponent declares an attack. Negate the attack, and remove 1 monster in your Graveyard from play.

When this card is discarded from your hand, you can Special Summon this card to your side of the field. If this card is Special Summoned by this effect, Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster with ATK of 2000 or less from your Removed From Play Zone. Once per turn, you can switch the ATK with the DEF of this card until the end of your opponent's next turn.

This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a Chieftain Monster. Once per turn, instead of attacking, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. When this card attacks, and your opponent controls no Spell or Trap Cards, increase the ATK of this card by 300 until the end of the turn.

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, by decreasing the ATK of 1 monster you control by 500 you can Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster in your Removed From Play Zone. When this card destroys a monster by battle, the monster is removed to your Removed From Play Zone and is treated as an Assimilated Monster instead of going to your opponent's Graveyard. This card can only Special Summon Assimilated Monsters destroyed by this card effect.

This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a Chieftain Monster. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can Release 1 Assimilated or Chieftain Monster you control and remove it from play to inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent.

If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack this turn. If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy 1 Assimilated Monster you control instead.

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster from your Removed From Play Zone by paying 1000 Life Points. When this card declares an attack, you can remove 2 monsters in your Graveyard from play to increase the ATK of this card by 300 until the end of the turn.

This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of a Chieftain Monster. When this card is Special Summoned, you can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. Once per turn, by paying 1000 Life Points, you can return 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard to your hand. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, remove 1 card in your opponent's hand from play at random.

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Assimilated Monster from your Removed From Play Zone by discarding 2 cards. This card isn't effected by Monster Effects while you control at least 1 Assimilated Monster. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 points of damage to both players.

Even though you aren't really a newb, or won't be for long. >.> 10/10, generally sweet cards, I think there's a typo in Negok's effect, it says effected instead of affected. Don't know if it's meant to be like that. :S

Great cards no question. The Idea is great and nice pictures and OCG. Good to see good and new members like you and me :)

My Rating: 95 / 100

 

I have an idea, maybe you'll like it: Hows about a Assimilated or Chieftain Zombie-Type monster [fitting most for the following effect], which has the effect like this: "A monster that is destroyed by this monster as a result of battle, is removed to your Removed From Play Zone and is treated as an Assimilated monster instead of going to your opponent's Graveyard".

 

So that will allow you, to summon your opponents monster which the Zombie-Type monster has destroyed, to your side with a chieftain monster. A great thing for my opinion. :)

OCG: 692 (Monster = monster, there is no RFG'd zone, they're just removed from play, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't feel like pointing out)

Originality: 607 (there's been a lot of stuff like this; you should have made a new zone/border at least...)

Playability: 571 (all cards except Avian are way too slow; Avian is hyper-overpowered and better than Magician of Faith)

Hey wait, the best idea is like this:

 

You make a Chieftain monster like you already made. Then you put that effect in your card: (best is zombie monster)

"A monster that is destroyed by this monster as a result of battle, is removed to your Removed From Play Zone and is treated as an Assimilated monster instead of going to your opponent's Graveyard"

 

Because it is a Chieftain Monster, he could summon the monsters of the opponent he destroyed to the field, cause they would get an assimilated mosnter. If he would get destroyed, an other Chieftain Monster could summon it, because the opponent's monster stills in the Removed From Play Zone.

I'm guessing 692, 607, and 571 is out of 1000.

 

Well, OCG, I've been here for less then a week. I kind of understand that.

 

Originality, I don't know how to add a new border (as I've said before, I'm new...)

 

Playability, that's your opinion.

 

In my opinion, you are being a little harsh...

Oh well...

 

Leanbow, I will try that idea, maybe make a few cards like it. Post pic here, and for the good idea, you'll receive 3+rep.
