Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 Alright, i made this thread because i know people who want their cards rated profesionally but they cant because they cannot find a thread! So i have now made this thread and as the title shows i rate 2 or more cards a week guarenteed. Ok to have your card rated then you must Pm it to me but DONT post it in the thread. If you do you might get a neg rep.It's not because i'm a meanie but i only want my thread to be filled with comments on the thread, not cards. Whenever i review a card i will edit this first post and post the review there (or here, depending what you prefer to say). I will rate in 5 different categories: Name:Picture:OCG/Grammar:Star Sense:Rarity: And the results will be in 2 different categories: Overall / 50:TCG/OCG Limit: I will accept almost any card i get Pm'ed unless it is horrificlly over/underpowered, crap OCG etc. If you do Pm me such a card then the curse of neg reps will hit you twice. BTW please write the rarity of the card in the Pm as i have trouble seeing the rarity of some cards. By the way the guarentee is 5 points. If i do not review 2 cards a week (without a good reason) then everyone who has Pm'ed me a card that week will recieve 5 points. I think i have mentioned all that i need to mention before i open this card rating thread. This thread is open... NOW!!! [spoiler=Review 1, Card by Diedra][spoiler=Effect]1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card battles a monster, if that monster isn't destroyed, destroy it during the end of the Battle Phase. When this card is in your Graveyard, and you have no cards on the field, you may discard 1 card to Special Summon this card. When this card destroys a monster by its effect, destroy all Set cards on the field. You lose 400 Life Points for each. Ok, this will be interesting. I dont know much about Synchro monsters so this thread might learn me something but i will rate the card as good as i can. Name: Grimborg of Supremacy - Hmmm, definitly sounds interesting but Grimborg? 7/10Pic: More overused than the phrase OMG but still cool. The editing of the oic is not that good though. 8/10OCG/Grammar: A few minor errors so 9/10Star Sense: 10 is to much. Lower it to 8 or 9. 6/10Rarity: I believe it's an Ultimate rare, which fits quite well. 10/10 Now for the results:Overall / 50: 40/50Limit: Probably Limited Overall good job with this card Diedra. Review done 18 October 2008 [spoiler=Review 2, Card by Ninja Steve][spoiler=Effect]Equip only to a Spell card on your field. The equipped Spell becomes a continuous Spell. You can only use it's effect once per turn. If the equipped Spell is destroyed you can activate 1 of the following effects,-Ask you opponent what his or her name is. If they tell you then you lose 500 Life Points, but if they do not then they lose 500 Life Points.-Ask you opponent to say this cards effect and the effect of one random card in your hand. If they say it in under a minute then you lose 1000 Life Points, but if they do not then you lose 1000 Life Points. You opponent can pay 500 Life Points to activate this card from your Graveyard. Hahaha, this card looks to be very funny and interesting. I've already checked it and the effect is very unique. Name: Xtremely unique, i have never seen a card with an even remotely similar name. 9/10Pic: That is wicked! I love the lightning effect! 10/10OCG/Grammar: The effect is just as unique as the name so i can't check with any real card but no obvious errors. 10/10Star Sense: Now here's the problem as it's a Spell card. I'll give it a 8/10 since the card is brilliant.Rarity: Problem #2. I can't see if it's a Common, Rare or Secret Rare but it looks like a common so that what i'lll go with. Common is too low i'd say Super or Ultra Rare. 7/10 And the results are in:Overall / 50: 45/50Limit: Most likely Semi-Limited Very unique card, congrats! Oh well, i'll review it anyway since most people can probably read it. Name: Very simple and common. 5/10Pic: Now that's a different story since the pic is cool and not at all overused (i think). 8/10OCG/Grammar: It could be better but it could also be worse. 7/10Star Sense: This is probably the best aspect of this card as it fits perfectly. 10/10Rarity: It is a common card which is way too low. I'd say at least Super Rare with that kind of effect. 6/10 Here come the results:Overall / 50: 36/50Limit: Limited maybe even Banned Good, but not the best. You can do better. Review done 18 October 2008 [spoiler=Review 4, Card by K.B. strategist][spoiler=Effect]1 Tuner + or more Winged Beast-Type Non-Tuner monsters.When this card is Synchro Summoned successfully place 3 Fly Counters on this card (when a Winged Beast-Type monster with a Fly Counter(s) is attacked you can remove 1 Fly Counter from the card to negate the attack). While this card is face-up on the field monsters with Fly Counters cannot declare an attack or activate their effects (except this card). You can remove 3 Fly Counters from anywhere on the field to destroy 1 card your opponent controls. When this card declares an attack you can negate the attack to place 1 Fly Counter on the attack target. Another interesting card since i can see the effect has something to do with counters and again it's a Synchro card which isn't my strong point. Name: Hmmm, i like it. Pretty unique and it sounds interesting. 8/10Pic: I love it! The only flaw is the way it's coloured. If it was coloured better it would fool konami i'm sure. 9/10OCG/Grammar: A few errors but nothing serious. 8/10Star Sense: I'd say that 8 is perfect. 10/10Rarity: Again, i can't see whether it's a Ultra Rae or a Ultimate Rare which is why i ask you to post the rarity of your card in your Pm. I think this an Ultimate Rare which i think is too high. I'd say Ultra or Secret Rare. 8/10 And the curtain is up, here are the results:Overall / 50: 43/50Limit: I'd say Unlimited Nice card and unique. Well done! Review done on 19 October 2008 [spoiler=Review 5, Card by The Legend of Rahim][spoiler=Effect]If your opponent controls 2 or more monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card declares an attack on an opponent's monster, you can discard 1 card from your hand to increase the ATK of this card by 300 x the amount of cards in your hand until the end of Damage Step. During your End Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard you can remove 1 "Chaos Enigma" monster in your Graveyard from play to Special Summon this card. Interesting card and archetype but again i cant see what the rarity is! Name: Interesting. Chaos Enigma is the interseting part but then it becomes to simple. Medusa? Find something more interesting. 8/10Pic: I fits the name, thats for sure. And if the ugly snake tail was removed it would be pretty smexy too:-) 9/10OCG/Grammar: I can spot 1 pretty major error but that is all. 8/10Star Sense: To be honest i'd say that it should be a Level 5 but it might just be me. 9/10Rarity: Probably a common which fits very well. 9/10 Results = here:Overall / 50: 43/50Limit: In real life, probably Unlimited Very good job, almost beat Ninja Steve in review 2:-) Review done 19 October 2008 [spoiler=Review 6, Card by legendhiro][spoiler=Effect]This Monster is also treated as a Fairy-type and a Dragon-type. This Monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When you activate "Brightest Realm" you can return 1 Formchanger that you control to your Deck to Special Summon this Monster from your hand or Deck. You can remove six different Field Spell cards in your Graveyard from play to draw cards until you there are 6 cards in your hand. This Monster cannot be targeted by your opponent's Spell or Trap card effects until your second End Phase after this Monster is Summoned. Negate this effect if you do not control a face-up "Brightest Realm". You can only control 1 Formchanger Monster at a time. Ok, this card has a new sub-type, which means that it should be interesting... Name: To be honest, quite boring. Michael? Come use your fantasy! 5/10Pic: Quite overused, but still nice. 8/10OCG/Grammar: A few minors but otherwise it's fine. 8/10Star Sense: Lower it to 7-8 and then it's perfect. 8/10Rarity: Secret Rare i assume? Name: Catchy, you definitly know what kind of card you've drawn. 9/10Pic: Could be slightly better, but still cool. 9/10OCG/Grammar: Almost flawless, 1 very ultra tiny error. 9/10Star Sense: Only 8? 9 or 10 is better. 8/10Rarity: Looks like a Super Rare, and that is perfect. 10/10 You want results? The timing would be missed by a longshot.That being said, even if it were possible, what would happen if someone used something like Card Destruction or Swords of Revealing Light?It would definitely be ultra rare, and most likely it would be banned.
