Nelsn3
You don't understand. The price IS cheap' date=' but as stated, a monster can only be returned ONCE. The Rising Tide Position makes them Untouchable by monsters, but have a downside of being recognized as Spell Cards. Tidal Deity is an interesting card, but downsided. ALL CARDS EXCEPT WATER MONSTERS. That can still be a downside if you think about it. Plus, HE CAN BE DESTROYED SO EASILY. His attack is not super high. Plus, He can only be returned from the depth zone once, and nothing else can special summon a monster from the depth zone.[/quote'] The fact that they are spells does not make much of a difference if you have several Titanicas. Also' date=' it is really easy to stockpile tribute fodder behind your monsters, even with only one revival. The Deity alone is broken with its effects; more monsters with similar effects will be overwhelming.[/quote'] In addition to what Voncsent said that card wipes out all cards that aren't water types so unless I'm using a Water deck my strong monsters just got wiped off the field making your "it doesn't have a super high attack" reasoning useless. Also, I'd be willing to bet that a subtype called titanica with soak summons and depth zones is made up of at least 95% Water monsters.
-DG-
Yeah, It is. You know nothing. Do you not understand that this is the first card, as well as a required tribute for many, many cards to come. I have plans, and that card is part of the plan. Stop trying to down it completely. Also, the high attack means ATK.. If you don't know that, you shouldn't even be rating.
Von Csent
Wait...wait...wait...he is "a required tribute for many, many cards to come"? He is a broken 2800 ATK beatstick and TRIBUTE? If he is the tribute fodder, what could he possibly pave way to summon? Regardless, if Tidal Deity is any hint to the rest of the set, it will be a broken archetype. Just my opinion. You know how I know because I have a brain, a brain mofo do you have one. How can you read everyone's comments and just say they are wrong. When an anonymous majority says you have a bad idea they aren't messing with you it's just a bad idea. If you're the type of person who can make 2 sub-types in 5 days then dump this and get to work on the less complicated sub-type you mentioned earlier. I don't understand how you can be so childish, what are you like 11 years old or something, man-up and learn that it's possible you just made a bad sub-type. -DG-
Fine. If you want to try and make some dumb comment, I'll just lock this thread. I'm getting tired of trying to explain my sub-type to you.
