Well I'm looking to see if I can make this deck better.

Where the freaking hell did I say that this was a Jaden Deck?

No where.

The lot of you are just assuming that it is one because Avian is in it and the cards that I've put in this deck are to your dislike because it does not support your opinion on what a Hero Deck is supposed to be.

Your deck contains 40 cards. Jaden runs a whopping 34 of those cards. The cards that Jaden does not run are as follows:

The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion

Heavy Storm

Future Fusion

Sakuretsu Armor

Magic Jammer

Magic Cylinder

Two are obvious cards for a Fusion-based deck. The other four are just splashables - and, Heavy Storm notwithstanding, incredibly mediocre splashables at that.

Your deck also relies on exactly the same strategy as Jaden's - run a low number of a random assortment of Elemental Hero monsters, with a couple of non-Heroes thrown in to stop the audience from getting bored. Pray you somehow draw Polymerization and two appropriate Heroes simultaneously. Toss in some mediocre splashables like Sakuretsu Armor and some even-more-mediocre E-Hero "support" like Edge Hammer, and hope that your opponent suffer from a lack of removal, refuse to read your card effects, and will always fall victim to a lucky topdeck at the last second.

Your deck contains the same cards as Jaden's and has the same strategy as Jaden's, and would only have slightly better success in the real world than Jaden's. Like it or not, this is a Jaden deck, and you've done very little to improve upon his horrible build other than to improve the quality of the splashables somewhat - and at the crushing expense of Miracle Fusion, the one card that makes E-Hero Fusions somewhat close to efficient. You can stick your fingers in your ears and pretend that this isn't a Jaden deck, but if it looks like a Jaden deck, plays like a Jaden deck, and has the same problems as a Jaden deck, it most certainly qualifies as a Jaden deck.

Claiming that any criticism of this deck is simply bias caused by our warped views of what a Hero deck is supposed to be is like claiming that Poker should be played mindlessly and without strategy, as any betting strategies were just propagated by narrow-minded elitists who were biased by their warped view of how Poker was supposed to be played. Never mind that those betting systems actually increase the chance of victory. Never mind that those people actually have experience and know what they're talking about. No, clearly, my strategy of simply bidding wildly wherever I feel like it will be far more successful! It happens in the movies all the time!

And here's another thing: if a lot of people are giving you advice' date=' and you think it's just criticism, wouldn't that make the majority of YCM posters critisizing bastards? I think not, for YOU sir are the one with a problem.

A lot of people are not giving me advice. Only a few, 1-3 assumingly, are. The lot, however, are claiming this to be a Judai/Jaden deck because of Avian and some other cards he uses when it clearly isn't.

As I already stated, the "Avian and some other cards he uses" add up to 85% of your deck, and that's just the main deck - the Fusion Deck is filled with more Judai goodness, with Judai running all nine of your Fusion Monsters.

I'd love to hear your brilliant explanation for how two decks can use the same cards and the same strategies while somehow being "clearly" different. Go on, deckbuilding guru. We're all awaiting your wisdom.

And as I've already stated, I do not have any of the cards that you think is good for an Elemental Hero Deck. Every Hero deck has at least half the cards from Jaden's deck.

Plus, he mixes E-Heroes and Neo-Spacians, which isn't good at all.

So therefore, my deck is nothing like his.

Wrong. DDT certainly qualifies as a Hero deck, but it ran very few cards used by Judai.

Also, not every Hero deck needs to rely on Judai's strategies.

Compare your deck to his pre-Neos deck and his Manga decks. Note the similarities.

Also, note that, regardless of any resemblance to Judai's deck, this deck is still terrible, and you're just too terrible at this game to realize that. There's nothing even remotely original about this deck, and it fixes none of the problems inherent in E-Hero Fusion decks - in fact, it creates new ones by using fewer Fusion Subs, no Miracle, no Calling, more situational Fusion Material Monsters, and so on.

Why the hell are you supposed pro's, with 2389553 stars under your names, arguing with some kid about the deck? If it's 'fail', let it be 'fail'. If he wants help, give him help. I do believe this is a forum for HELP building decks, not telling a kid his deck sucks and to build some other guys deck. If he wanted to netdeck, he would, right? There's no need to argue over what percentage of his deck is Jaden crap, nor get into an argument as to why he uses an Avian. Jesus, it seems like every time I read something here, people get more and more immature about this game. I'm sure there's more to life than criticizing some kid's E-Hero deck.

Aw, it's so cute when seven-year-olds band together to support one another's right to suck at this game. It's especially entertaining when they overlook the fact that posting a deck here is an invitation to receive honest comments. I suppose they were expecting everyone to put on sweet sugary tastes-like-diabetes smiles and say "AW LITTLE JIMMY YOUR DECK IS THE BEST DECK EVER".

Nah dude, I'm 18. It's more like, when you discourage someone on here, you'd think they wouldn't want to post anymore due to the constant deconstructive criticism you people live off of. It's sad. If it's a bad deck, tell him what needs to be done. I'd love to see how you'd react to someone ranting on and on about how your deck contains no heavy, so it's not competitive. Wait, I forgot, you'd never make such a grave error. You're a pro. :P

It is quite clearly stated in the site rules that any and all topics posted in this forum are considered R/F topics, which means that other members are free - and encouraged - to give their perfectly candid opinions of decks posted here. Anyone who read the rules knew this before posting, and thus, by posting, they acknowledged that they were willing to accept criticism. Those who post without such willingness fall into one of two categories:

1) Idiots who didn't read the rules

2) Idiots who think they're too cool for the rules to apply to them

The feelings of neither category of idiots is any concern of mine.

The flaws in the deck have already been pointed out, such as the use of vanillas like Avian and the lack of Fusion Subs and Miracle. The problem here is that the topic creator is too certain that his deck is highly effective and highly original to listen to these enumerated concerns.

For myself, if someone makes note of a way to improve my deck, I take it into consideration. If I choose to accept their advice, I do so and thank them; otherwise, I explain why I am rejecting their advice. In any event, my actions do not involve simply sitting down and stubbornly declaring my own genius without providing any supporting arguments or explanations, and then proceeding to flame those attempting to help.

Don't mind at all. It would certainly make a better sig than the song, which doesn't make sense out of context.

I understand that his deck shares many, TOO many, similarities to Janken's deck for it to be a coincidence. I also understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and he may have been asking for it by posting it here. But when one other kid tells him that his deck isn't that bad, and you proceed to bash him as well for merely stating his approval, then you're just a prick. If anything, that's what bothered me the most. Still, even if he's using one of the worst archetypes with some of the most+worst support, just give him the advice he's asking for. There is really no need to fluff your post up for the sake of extreme criticism.
