that'll take a couple minutes, thats all i need.

ok first

No Shippidy doo, meat is dead animals, you have to kill it to eat you, do-do brain.

secondly, you dont want to eat a once living thing?

plants are alive, you idiot.

plants, give us air, and take care of pollution

plants dont breath?

ever heard of photosynthesis?

I eat the cows, that ends air pollution, you eat the source giving us air, and taking care of pollution,

I win

You lose.

They slaughter the cows and pigs

your destroying plants that are helping our ozone.

They keep the chicken in really small spaces

they grow plants in small rooms, and they use pesticides that are destroying our ozone.

Meat = Flesh. That means you're eating flesh.

um... dum-dum?

meat is meat, not flesh, re-think that, meat, is fat, dumb dumb

They take the babies away from the mother cow and kill the babies for food.

wrong, idiot, they kill the cow, and raise the calf, they dont kill the calf becuase it doesnt have enough meat, and some calfs grow up to be dairy cows, get your crap solid

They don't treat animals correctly

lets see, feeds them, provide shelter, protects them from preteders, protects them from your peticides, ohh and they spend money to treat illness, hmmm.

again, you fail, I win.

In my opinion eating animals is an important part why our earth is stable (or stable-ish).

Vegetarians don't eat meat because they have to kill animals to do it (or for some other stupid reason) but if we did not kill the animals they would overpopulate, which would decrease their food supply (and perhaps ours) and in time they would suffer and die a very slow death.

So here is how it is laid out.

Quick Death > Starvation / Slow Death

you must kill to survive. Be it plant, animal, bacteria. Life may be precous, but it is justified if it is sacrificed for survival. I'll eat a steak, hamburger (if I make it, no one else) and veal. I also eat pineapple, pears, and broccoli. The nutrients in meat are more easily accessed than what is in non-meat products, but a completely vegetarian diet requires a lot of work (i know, I tried). The main source of protine has to be Tofu, as that is the only non-meat that has digestable protines. Beyond that, who is to decide what meat is ok to eat? Dog is frowned upon as a meat source in European and American (including Central and South American) cultures. But in some Asian cultures, Dog is a delicacy. Many people say the Bible says what can and cannot be eaten, but not everybody follows the bible (I am a devout Catholic, but have chosen to avoid organized religeon, the reasons of which will be expressed in another thread). All it really boils down to is that you can't force people to see it your way. Animals eat other animals. Humans have been doing it since they learned to throw a rock at the plains animals they lived along side of. It is possible to live a healthy life without meat, but it is very difficult. Meat has provided easy access to essential protines required for growth and maintainance.

Eating animals is the same as cannibalism. Disagree with that statement and I label you dumb. First, I really don't care if plants are alive or not. This debate is not about that. Animals are living, breathing, talking [somewhat] creatures of nature. JUST LIKE US.

Eating animals and killing animals for eating is good.

You do NOT kill animals for sport.

Excuse me while I laugh. HA! How is killing an animal good? You know what? Let me come to your house with a big machine' date=' chop [b']you[/b] through the machine, package you in a box, and send you to a supermarket to be sold and eaten. And let's see how you like it.

Yes we ARE animals but we still need meat. Well, I need it. It is too tasty to stay away from.

Meat for what, may I ask. There are so many natural resources of protein on this Earth, without killing animals.

I say that is correct. But what about a long time ago when we needed clothes? You would wear none? I would kill a bear for some nice, warm, bear skin.

The winning statment follows: Is this a long time ago? Are we stupid cavemen who don't know how to sew? Nope, so why we need to kill animals, when we have so many alternatives.
