shishkilla Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 Here are my first two creations, I think they are pretty balanced (although may seem a bit out-of theme with the normal Gladiator Beasts) but would like other peoples' honest opinions.[align=center]GLRV = Gladiators' RevengeBack story:[in the duel monsters world][/align] The Gladiator Beasts and the Psychics were fighting a losing war with Dark Armed Dragon's armies and the Lightsworns, both lacked one thing that the other had. The Gladiator Beasts lacked Brainpower while the Psychics lacked... actual power. The Psychics, realizing their flaw, taught the Gladiator Beasts their secrets. These monsters (especially Kurilno) were just some of the products of the newly formed alliance. The new army marches for revenge. Gladiator Beast's Mechanic:If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, its name is treated as "Future Tuner", and it is also treated as a Tuner monster. Place 1 counter on this card for every "Gladiator Beast" monster that is Special Summoned from the Deck. Remove counters from this card to increase the ATK of a selected "Gladiator Beast" monster (except this card) by 100 x the number of counters removed (max 5) until your opponent's next End Phase. Future Gladiator Beast - Kurilno1 "Future Tuner" + 1 or more "Gladiator Beast" monsters.Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects instead of attacking:* Remove from play up to 2 cards on the field for 2 Standby Phases* Remove From play 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, Special Summon it after 3 turns. Spire Posted October 26, 2008 Report Share Posted October 26, 2008 Well seeing as this is your first post, you seem to have some good cards there. There are some errors though like "Special Summon" and "Deck", just minor errors. The pics seems good and some good ideas, there. Spire's Rating: 8.7/10.
