Bloodrun
Well I was talking to my dad, and somehow we (my sister, dad and me) started talking about beef, then vegetarians and carnivores, then, somehow got on the subject of war. Now I did some research, and people during the WWII period, felt that the war was started to give people jobs, and other thought that the war was started to kill people off. I then went back to my dad, and asked him what he thought of this war, and he said I think Bush might have started the war, to give jobs. and my sister was like i think he did it to kill people. and to that, i said, if he truelly was having the war to kill people, he would have had to start Drafts, and lower the restriction of the army. Now what I think, is that war then, and now, are basically the same as the venture is basically, targeted towards teens and college students, whom have no jobs and are desperate for money. What do you think about all this?

Saturn of Elemia
Wouldn't this be better suited to the Debates section? Anyway...wars do provide job opportunities, but I don't think a war would be started JUST for that reason.
Lazer Yoshi
War starts because people can't stand each other. I just wish people could understand Life isn't perfect and you just can't throw bombs to win.BTW, Bush has no idea what he's doing. He's making up the story as he goes like a toddler. 「tea.leaf」
Winning is essentially besting your opponent. Since survival is the key to existence, the way to win is outlast your opponent. However, humans have short patience, so it's more efficient to kill your opponent so as to win quicker. Thus, war is simply an embodiment of the natural drive for victory. Of course, humans are never going to figure out that they're impermanent beings, and will die anyway. :/
