HORUS
the package may take longer to get to the person you are mailing it to, and it may be voided by the post office due to the fact that there is no send address.
Quagmire_jr
also, what would happen if u put the other pesons address for both the sending and return address
Static
also' date=' what would happen if u put the other pesons address for both the sending and return address[/quote'] Its illegal and needs to be done right. Chaoserver has done this before, properly. return address = place you want it to go. stamps = none, or not enough postage send address = your house, or someone you know who will give you the envelope if it gets there. By law, I am required to tell you guys that attempting this in ANY way is a federal crime and for it, you can be tried in a federal court. If found guilty, you may find yourself under Federal Incarseration, have fun at Guantanamo kiddies :P
chaoserver
It works, atleast the time I did it. It took a few days longer than typical, and it's really not worth it for actually valuable packages, as if it get losts, gee it sucks.
Administrators Falling Pizza Posted August 27, 2007 Administrators Report Share Posted August 27, 2007 It does not work. The only reason it worked for you guys is because your mail men are lazy. When you send a letter it is stamped at the post office with the zip code of the area it was sent from. If your zip code is 29876, and you put a different zip code on the return address, then they will not return it, but rather destroy it and take you to court. But obviously most mail men are too lazy to report the fraud so they just send it to the return address. BUT, if they do take the time to take you to court, you could face up to 25 years in prison, with a minimum of 15. And if you're under the age of 18 they will give you 5 years. chaoserver
Yeah, like you said it is a very very very doubtful that any mail man would care enough to file fraud, especially considering there is no way to prove that it was you whom mailed it in the first place. Frunk
It's rediculous, if they couldn't deliver it the first time, it's not because they couldn't find the house, if you did what you suggested they'd probably have to throw it away.
