Kobe is the greatest player in the NBA, there is NO questioning that. But...Lebron is quickley rising on that list, and is alot yonger ;)

My answer depends on what you mean by build a team. Do you mean a team that will be a contender in a few years, or one that will be championchip right away, but get worse in a few years?

i agree, kobe is the best, and lebron is an uprising contender, but he can't shoot free throws for beans and those are free points that are vital towards the end of a close game

it depends..... are you looking for a team that will develop over the years? or that is intended to go for like 2 years and then go down hill?

so basically what yankeefan said

dwayne wade might be better, but the team he is on isnt helping him at all......

but to not consider this spam:

i would think kobe would be the best to start off with mainly because he can lift a team from nothing to something.... lebron or wade don't have the experience to do such a thing....

oh i see..... true' date=' lebron led his team to the playoffs.... dwayne wade helped lead his team to a championship. BUT, the season after, the heat were the worst team in the NBA and as for the Cavaliers, they did average....

[/quote']

Thats cus the heat butchuerd the team after that xD

And the Cavs...Well...They didn't give LeBron anybody to help him out. Remember, this thread is about building a team AROUND a player ;)

bleh, top contender... dwayne wade... only if he had a team to support him..... he can't do anyhting with the team he has now... maybe derrick rose/michael beasley (i forgot which one) might help him.....

i honestly think kobe would be the best, the dwayne wade, then lebron... lebron has no leadership abilities whatsoever except to hog the ball, try to dunk the ball or drive, and then miss his free throws
