Nyx's effect: FLIP: Draw 2 cards, then determine an effect according to what you drew:

-1 spell, 1 trap Discard 1 card

-2 spells Draw 1 card

-2 traps Discard both cards

-1 trap, 1 monster - Add 1 card from your graveyard to your hand

-1 spell, 1 monster - Add 1 card from your deck to your hand.

-2 monsters - Gain 1500 lifepoints.

Rate please. ALOT OF PEOPLE DID THIS. I used pictures off of photobucket, and went in deph.

I use spoiler, because it doesn't make the page lag that much.

First off, I'm usually opposed to creating a new type, and this is no exception - this sort of descriptor should be in the title instead.

There's some minor OCG flaws, but I don't particularly care about that - what I do care about is that Hephaestus, Helios and Nyx in particular are horrendously broken. Hephaestus is, because of his own effect, a 2500 ATK 4-Star monster with no drawback. Similarly, Helios's effect makes him a 2050 out the gate. Nyx is just a wasted Set at worst, but more than half the time she far outclasses Pot of Greed.

The others are at least vaguely balanced, but they suffer from a lack of real compatibility. There's clearly some attempt to make it a theme deck, but at the same time many of the God's effects (such as Gaia's) prevent you from summoning a large portion of the other Gods. The deck further also wants Beast and Warrior support, so you're looking at a very bloated execution.

That's one way to think about it, yes. Another, slightly less egotistical way might be to realize that nobody's said they're bad, just that some are horrendously broken (Hephaestus, Nyx) and they could be improved. Despite the thread title, this is most certainly not a perfected set, and ignoring advice simply because it comes from a new user is unwise behavior if you really want to improve your card-making skills.

OMG,I remember learning this in fifth grade!(and I loved reading Greek Myths.)

I had this idea a while back, but never got to it.Awesome cards BTW,love the pics and the effects go well the god.The only error i see is you mixed up "attack" and "ATK",but I do that sometimes too:).I don't quite get Hestia's effect, and Hades deserves an effect.9.5/10
