Hi. ^_^ Crystal and I are having a 1 on 1, just for fun and friendly competition. So, this is how it works. You guys vote on which card you think is made better. The one with more votes wins!

 

End date: Monday, November 3rd, 2008

 

Crystal Beast 123's card:

effect:

This card is also treated as "Fiend". This card's effect activates depending on the way it is Summoned. You may choose if to activate these effects.

-Normal Summoned: Destroy one monster on the field.

-Flip Summoned: Destroy one monster and up to two Spell or Trap cards on the field.

-Special Summoned: Destroy one Spell or Trap card on the field.

These effects activate when "Hunter of the Underworld-Evilbrood" is destroyed and sent from the field to the Graveyard.

-By battle: Increase your opponent's Life Points by 800.

-Not as a result of battle: Draw one card.

Effect:

 

1 Tuner monster + 1 or more DARK non-Tuner monsters

When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can pay Life Points equal to half of the ATK of the destroyed monster to Special Summon the destroyed monster to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position, and put 1 Dark Side Counter on it. Monsters with Dark Side Counters are treated as DARK monsters, are unaffected by the effects of non-LIGHT monsters, and lose 200 ATK. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, each player takes 200 damage for each DARK monster on the field. When this card is destroyed by a card effect, you can Tribute 1 monster you control with a Dark Side Counter to Special Summon this card in Attack Position. If this card battles a LIGHT monster, it loses 600 ATK during the Damage Step only. If this card battles a DARK monster, it gains 400 ATK during the Damage Step only.

My vote went to Crystal Beast becasue although there are grammar errors, I like the picture better and the effect isn't too bad.

 

Void's card effect seems to just run on and on... It just doesn't seem to be put together correctly. The card does seem more original though.

I'm tired of seeing contests being won by the card with the longest effect, even if they make no sense or have more errors than those with shorter effects. I like effects that are short and sweet. Taking that into consideration, although both of these cards have lengthy effects, I'm going with Crystal Beast 123.
