As for the OCG, you want to word it such that it doesn't destroy itself, I presume. In which case, you'd end up with this:

 

"When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, destroy all Machine-type monsters you control except this card. In addition to a normal attack, this card can attack a number of times in the same Battle Phase equal to the number of monsters that were destroyed by this effect."
