I live in Australia and I was watching every second of it ^_^

 

I had the day off school to watch it =D

 

Hopefully George Bush will be shot soon...

In your case; it's probably a good thing.

 

Besides. Obama doesn't gain full presidency until sometime in January.

 

We've still got Bush until then.

 

The good thing is; Bush needs to get Obama's opinion before Bush can pass any Public Action.

 

The bag thing is; He's still a pain in the ass with influence.

 

However; Obama's communistic and socialistic; to which both are pretty good. Although he won't admit to having socialistic influences; half of his promised policies have some sort of socialism ideal in them.

 

That makes him good.

 

The only place I found that he sucked was Foreign Affairs.

 

So.. Eh? Rejoice? =/.

 

Oh; right, just you know, I hate Bush for more of a reason that you'd think.

 

So no, I'm not being Cliche'.

Since this has been dubbed as one of the worst presidential running times; who thinks that we'll casually expect to much out of his position?

 

You know, come February, simply ask him:

 

"What the f*ck? We're still in a financial crisis? What the hell did we elect you for?"

 

Since I can really see something along those lines happening.

Obama sucks! He's gonna raise taxes for hard working people like my dad & make them pay 20%(20,000) & lower taxes for poor people who don't give a dang & make them pay 5%(about 5,000)

McCain would do the opposite. He would keep them lowered & make each person pay the same.

 

This will be a dark 4 years in America! I swear, most of us will be poor by the time of the next election!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not a matter of racism, its a matter of probability.

There are still a lot of racist extremists. The chance for assassination is high.

The polls say America is ready for a black president, but future events will tell if that's true or not.

Its not a matter of "taking a chance". You don't "take a chance" when you are deciding who should run a nation. Its who should be better qualified. Something tells me, 60% of the votes Barrack Obama received is because of the fact that he is black.

I will also venture to say a good chunk (probably 30 or 40%) of votes for McCain are because Obama is black.

Only time will tell though. No sense in starting arguments and b**** sessions when its going to do no good.

I think the voters made the right choice in voting for Obama, and so what if your all poor in a year he's trying to keep America as well protected from the global rescession as possible. and if he's not doing that well in the first year or two well it's not really his fault i mean look at the Wanker who's mistakes he has to fix, furthermore the first thing in his new position he'll have to deal with is the rescession which most current world leaders can't deal with easily any way. and besides it is GWB's fault in the first place because of how much he was borrowing from China for the F*!@ing stoopid war on terror which you should have pulled out of long ago, because isn't it costing you like $10 BILLION a month. Which i might add is the reason the stock market took a dive and brought this whole rescession on.

 

In short Obama is what is best for America at the moment, not because he is black but because he is intelligent enough and has the right ideas to make the best of the current state the world is in.

 

PS. He's getting his daughters a puppy!

PPS. @Synthia i live in Aus and i got the day off too, not to watch who won but because i get every wednesday off because of my school (i only go to school 4 days a week)

This is what you get when you have a bunch of teenagers who know little to nothing about the world talk politics.

 

1) The war on terror is a good thing. If we had pulled out long ago, terrorism would be an all time high right now.

2) The stock market didn't plummet because of borrowing money. The stock market plummeted because the american people listen to CNN and the media scews everything to sound HORRIBLE, when really its not. People panicked and started pulling their money.

Then some of the largest corporations were busted because they couldn't afford the loans they were giving and the fed's had to help them out. People panicked again and started hoarding their money. Had people not panicked, none of this would be going on. Even if we are borrowing money, that money goes into building things, which are constructed in the US, so our job market should be doing good, employment should be up, but its not because nobody is spending.

If you spend money, then money is going back into the system, people are paying tax money on things they buy which means more is going into the government. Higher profits for companies means they'll grow and expand which opens up job possibilities for everyone which means more people have more money so they'll spend more money giving businesses more profit and the government more money in taxes which boost the economy and buisnesses are growing. Higher demand means expansion for businesses which opens up more jobs and gives more people money to spend.

 

See how that all works out nicely? Now everyone has money, everyone is spending money, and the economy is booming.

 

How hard is that?
