Examples of political correctness that I have heard discussed- gone mad:

 

"Brainstorming" to be known as "Blue sky thinking" so as not to insult those with epilepsy or autism. In my opinion, this is completely irrational- its not like the term was deliberately coined specifically to insult people, and were it not for political correctness extremists, I doubt anybody would have complained.

 

"Ba Ba Black Sheep" to be changed to "Ba Ba Rainbow Sheep", the former title deemed to be racist. Hang on, this is a sheep we are talking about, not a person. And it's a fact that some sheep have white wool and some have black- what's the big deal? And for goodness sake its just a child's nursery rhyme!

I'm not sure if it was rainbow exactly, the word "rainbow" doesn't even fit the rhythm of the rhyme-.-

 

If not that then it's probably something equally stupid (maybe ba ba Green Sheep, but that would be offensive to the Incredible Hulk now wouldn't it?)

 

Also WTF I said nothing about Obama >w<

 

This post is simply about general examples of people taking political correctness too far.

what? who said anything about Obama, the President Elect? Lol. This has gone too far tho. Rainbow sheep? wtf.

Rainbow? What has the world come to?! It's a sheep, nobody cares about a sheep, so why change it to rainbow sheep? There is no sheep with Rainbow wool. Right? It's a children's Nursery Rhyme, seriously, they aren't going to be racist becuase of that.

 

Also, "Blue Sky Thinking"? What in the f*** has this world come to? Really, political correctness has gone too far, really. These are phrases that are used in almost everyday life, and they have to "Correct" them, by changing them into something disgusting and horrible.

It's not the site that's paranoid. It's what Cyber Altair said in the bottom post:

Nope. This is the dumbest idea ever. Some people seem to be racist? And no sheep has rainbow wool. Gawsh, people are idiots.
