tehodis
Alberta? So you`re from Canada too? Isn`t Alberta the most polluted part of the Canada? But we are getting off topic. For what I know' date=' if that cure really works, if it also has a cheap price, then so many people would use it![/quote'] Yeah, I'm Canadian. And I'm pretty sure that's actually Montreal or Toronto. The drug they've found works on a strain of cancer (don't remember which), but it needs to be researched and developed more to be ready for humans (They infect rats with strains of human cancer that they get samples of from people infected with the strain). The drug itself is so cheap, which is why no one wants to fund it. No profit in it for them, a waste of money for them. Still' date=' people who play sports, or make/act-in movies should not get that much money. The world would be a much better place...-Money could go into helping third world countries with poverty issues-Money could go into preventing "Global Climate-Change" (If you believe in it, that is)-Money could go into medical research and development, which could lead to finding the cure for cancer, AIDs, HIV, and even the common cold.-Money could go into scientific research and development. Heck, we'd probably be driving in hover-cars by now if the money that is being loaded into sports and movies was put into science.[/quote'] Writers only get 10%. Don`t complain we become rich easily, it`not true. Money is the motor for every vice. If somebody doesn`t get enough money after such a rich life... It`s hell. I never once mentioned writers. O.o Sports stars, movie stars, directors and producers (those last three are what I group into the main "movie maker" category, since they get most of what the film grosses). Quebec uses hydroelectricity, a pure power resource. I live by there. Alberta uses coal, the most polluting resource. Plus, Harper refused the Kyoto protocol... but we are seriously getting off topic. We`re turning it into a political talk. So please don`t answer that... Yeah, actors, athletes, and directors get alot of money! I agree it makes people rich. But there are exceptions: People who use this money for nice things, such as helping hospitals, or what I meant: charity. I like that word, me who`s always nice and is always ready to help someone.
