I will GLADLY take your advice for it.. this may sound kind of lame, but I don't know what the dice should do >.> I have a card that has to do with the dice.. I just can't think of what I can do.. so here it is Game Matt/setup General Card Layout - Monster (I probably will change how this looks later on.) ya, I'm obviously gonna get a bit from yugioh but w/e >.>well, obviously the deck zone is where you put your deck.. The dice zone is obviously where you put your dice.. you will have many different types of dice (types meaning multiple sides)the Burial Grounds is like the Graveyard in yugioh.. I havn't came up with the attacking part yet, but I just started making this tcg tonight and I really need ideas for it >.>. There is no spell/trap card zones, instead, replacing that is the Dice Playing Area. Havn't decided what to do with the dice yet (whole point of this thread is to get ideas from you :) I will give you credit if you do)The burial Grounds is where cards AND dice go after they're destroyed. The card playing area won't just be "monster cards" there will also be other cards that are sort of, but not quite like spell/trap's.the type of monster is on the bottom of the card if you missed that. as you can see my sample card is Angel..If your dice playing area gets full, you are aloud to discard one to the burial grounds (some dice get destroyed instantly some stay there for a bit.. at least thats what I'm planning...)the effect of the dice will be decided by types of monsters on the field or their "effects". Meh, I really need help with it..Don't do too many negative comments, I just came up with this tonight :)I forgot to mention, the effect of the dice will also be chosen by what number you roll :Ddon't say that this game is like Magic, or Pokemon (I don't even know if it is) because I have never played those tcg's... moneypony Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 i would suggest you at least add some things if your going to bump it.The problem is that you don't have enough details and the text to too clumped up to read,i suggest you separate them into section to make things easier to read.a suggestion i would say is perhaps create special types of dices where the sides say certain effects and stuff rather than 1-6 or the other types of dices.work on the attacking system and explain to use what the things on the cards mean.and make the feild more advanced and not MSPaint make-able. Holygiant Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 An easier system might include one 20-sided die unstead of a few sixes. Every card has a minimum roll requirement. Let's say you have a card with a seven requirement. If you roll a 7 or higher, you can attack. Try giving cards life points. I like that system for TCGs. Oh, I almost forgot.
