My new TCG: Spirit of the Dice [PLEASE LOCK]

Recommended Posts

o,my eyes seem to have thought there were 6....

but wouldn't you rather have a #6 dice for continuous effects like the one on the master of lightning?

now for some suggestion:

i am currently working on gold borders so please be patient.

but lets see our list:

no custom dices.............................yet....

no booster pack layout.....................yet...

no dice box design..........................yet...

we got holo sheets and rarity font so....check

no strategy based cards...................yet...

____

not much done(in a "I am not rushing you so take your time" voice.)

so..once i am done with gold borders i think i will be working on improving the mat design or something else.

i would suggest that you make one strategy-based card since you made 4 dice-based card, you can change the ratio if you want but it seems not many people would play a game where lucky people are the good players.

________

not affecting the game in any way:

put the cards and mats in spoilers, this makes it easier to scroll

separate some of the sections, like for one you can put:

Field Layout:

Lets start with how the Game mat works out first. Obviously you have your Deck Zone and and Burial Grounds. In this game there is no Spell&Trap Card Zone. Instead there is a Dice Zone. I will explain that more later on. ALL cards are played in the Card Zone. Sorcery and Monster.

Card Layout:

Now about the Cards. It says Atk (attack) and Spd (speed) which is like your attack and defense. On some cards there will be a die with an ∞ under it. That means the die your roll with that cards effect stays in the Dice Zone. The type of cards are at the bottom of the card. I have not come up with all the different types yet. Sorcery cards are like Spell&Trap Cards.

Attack System:

The attack system in yugioh is Atk vs. Atk (if in defense mode Atk vs. Def) But in this game there is not defense mode and you don't go Atk vs. Atk. Instead it's Atk vs. Spd. Instead of life points, they're called Death Points (I know, not very original) and instead of counting down, you count up. I'm thinking that once you reach to 6000 Death Points, you loose. (2000 in this game is like Blue Eyes White Dragon) I still havn't decided how to target a players Death Points yet.

_______________

if it gets really big like very large game walkthrough where we need a table of contest to search well, then we can have it formatted with a ToC(Table of Contents)

where we have it like this:

Card Layout.........A2

Attack System...........A3

and titles like:
yaay :D lots of helpful advice :D I will work on all of that later this week (I have to go to bed atm) This is only a 3 day school week so I'll have plenty of time on the long weekend (funny thing is I'm not American, so we don't celebrate Thanks Giving at the same time) I'll deffenitly come up with the dice box layout and boosterpack.. oh.. and should the Box be tin or cardboard? well.. I'll most likey be on tomorrow :D

also, replying to the 6th dice thing.. When you roll a die and it doesn't have that symbol, you don't keep it on the field. And usually the card is permanent (untill destroyed by battle/card effect) meaning the card and the die stay on the field, and since you can only have 5 different cards on the field at one time (I may change it to 6) the max of dice you can have in your playing card zone is 5.

ok i understand...

well, depends,if you are going to sell these for real then tin >.>

if just for playing with your friends, then obviously cardboard.

good luck on the designs.

let's just hope this doesn't fail like the other card games.....

not to mention those projects had more people while we only have 2....
