touzaikokon
So, I was making some Synchro-based cards, and I ended up creating a card called "Synchronic Overlord," which is, more or less, the definition of OP'd. So then I thought to myself, why not see how far I can take this? That's how "Rise of the Overlords" was born. Right now, it has a new archtype, "Synchronic" monsters, some more D.D. support, (as if they need it,) and, of course, the Overlord monsters. Most pics come from http://www.magicdeckvortex.com/art.htm. There's one from and the rest are from Google. (just a side note, I have to go back and holo all of the Overlord monsters, except for Synchronic...although I might re-do that one, too.)
2 Tuners + 1 or more Synchro monstersMonsters sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of this card are removed from play instead. This card's Type is treated as that of all the monsters used for the Synchro Summon for this card. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by Synchro Summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned, its original ATK becomes the number of removed from play Tuners x1000. Every turn, remove 1 card from your Graveyard, or destroy this card.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 Spellcaster-Type monsters you control. Once per turn, you may return one card from your Hand to your Deck to add one Spell card from your Deck to your Hand. Every time a Spell card is activated, place 1 spell counter on this card. When your opponent activates a Spell card, you can remove 2 spell counters from this card to negate and destroy that card.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 Machine-Type monsters you control. When this card attacks, you can pay half your life points to double its attack. If you do, this card is destroyed during the End Phase.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 Fairy-Type monsters you control. Fairy-Type monsters you control are not destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can send one Fairy-Type monster from your Hand to the Graveyard to activate one of the following effects:- Destroy all non-LIGHT monsters on the field.- Destroy all Spell and Trap cards on the field.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 Fiend-Type monsters you control. Once per turn, if "Pandemonium" is on the field, you can Special Summon one Archfiend monster from your Hand, Deck, or Graveyard. When your opponent activates a Spell or Trap card that targets or destroys a Fiend-Type monster, you can Tribute one Fiend-Type monster to negate and destroy that card.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 WATER monsters you control. WATER monsters can be Summoned without Tribute. If your opponent controls no WATER monsters, you can attack their Life Points directly.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 FIRE monsters you control. Destroy all cards that attack this monster at the end of the Damage Step. During your Standby Phase, your opponent takes damage equal to the number of FIRE monsters in your Graveyard x800.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 EARTH monsters you control. This monster must be Special Summoned in Defense position, and is not affected by card effects that change position. When an EARTH monster is Summoned, you can switch it to Defense position. Once per turn, you can pay Life Points in multiples of 100 to decrease the DEF and increase the ATK of this monster by the amount paid.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 3 WIND monsters you control. When a player Summons a WIND monster, all Spell and Trap cards on the field are returned to the owner's hands. All other WIND monsters you control can attack twice during your battle phase.
1 Tuner + 1 or more Synchro monstersThis card cannot be targeted by opponent's card effects. When this card battles, destroy one card on the field. Once per turn, remove from play one monster from either player's graveyard, and have that player gain 1000 Life Points. If you do not, destroy this card.
2 or more Tuner monstersDuring your Standby Phase, gain 400 Life Points for each Psychic-Type monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, if you control no other monsters, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon one Psychic-Type monster from your Hand.

Mark Gerardi
The overlords are a bit overpower but the D.D. cards and the synchronic are awsome. Specially Feedback i would totally add it to my deck.I like the D.D. cards and the synchronic monsters. The overlords as their name says are a bit overpower. touzaikokon
(sorry for the late response, I was out of town.) The overlords are cool' date=' but most of them are overpowered.[/quote']I agree. But that's the concept, I suppose. that synchro overlords img is from magic the gathering try to replace it.:)I know it's from Magic. I got it off a website for Magic artwork. Also, glad everyone likes the cards, especially the D.D. ones. I run a D.D. deck and a Synchro deck, so I guess that inspired this set.

Bengal
Good cards, the pictures are nice, the OCG/grammar seems decent, and the effects are creative, but seemed to die out when you got to the cards near the bottom, make sure you keep up the interesting effects. Good work so far, 8.5/

Good work so far, 8.5/10[/quote']Sorry about that. The set's still in progress, and actually, Flame Lord was rushed...I'll probably take it out. But I have many more interesting effects in mind. Aren't half of these from magic the gathering?Yes, they are. I got the pictures off of the art archive. It's the easiest way for me to get good/realistic pics.
