God Duelist vs. Ned93 - Fiery 1 on 1! LOCK!

[align=center]Hello. So, you might know the 1 on 1 club in the Clubs and Organizations section. Well, recently, I challenged Ned in a 1 on 1 battle! So, we both had to make Spellcaster of either LIGHT or DARK attribute and 1 support Spell or Trap. So vote either the cards A or B.

 

[spoiler=Cards A]

Zoraida is an Arabic name that means Enchanting/Seducing Woman.

 

 

[spoiler=Effect]This card can only be Special Summoned by discarding 2 Spell Cards from your hand to the Graveyard. This card gains 100 ATK for each Spell Card in your Graveyard. As long as this card remains face-up, negate the activation of Spell Cards on your side of the field. Each time a Spell Card's activation is negated, put 1 Negation Counter on this card. During the turn you removed 3 Negation Counters from this card, negate the effect of all effect cards on your opponent's field until your opponent's next Main Phase. You can use this card's effect during either player's turn. If this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon it to your field by removing from play 2 Spell Cards in your Graveyard during your next Standby Phase.

 

So, Zoraida is a monster that negates the activation of Spell Cards on your field and gains 100 ATK for each Spell Card in your Graveyard. Like it's effect says for each Spell Card's activation negated, you put 1 Negation Counter on Zoraida. By removing 3 Counters from it, you gain a huge advantage for 1 turn. But, you can activate this effect during your opponent's turn as well, since there are some monsters that activate their effects during the Battle Phase only or when they attack. Zoraida's effect ends during the opponent's Main Phase - Main Phase 1 or 2, whatever comes first. If Zoraida is destroyed by battle, it can be returned to the field by removing from play 2 Spell Cards in your Graveyard. It's ATK will be lowered by 200, since 2 Spell Cards are removed from play which balances things a bit.

 

 

Forbidden Seal is a support card for Zoraida Witch.

 

 

[spoiler=Explanation]It's first effect is useful if Zoraida is already in your Graveyard. You can discard a Spell Card from your Deck to the Graveyard + after the activation, this card goes to the Graveyard as well. So, you already have 2 Spell Cards that need to be removed from play in order to return Zoraida. It's second effect is useful if Zoraida is on the field. Since Zoraida will negate Forbidden Seal's effect, you will be able to put 1 Counter on it + Forbidden Seal can be put on the top of your Deck. This way you will draw it during your next turn so you can use the effect again and put another Negation Counter on Zoraida, but you won't draw any new cards which balances things.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Cards B]

 

 

[spoiler=Effect]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing up to 3 face-up DARK monsters you control. Increase the ATK of this card by 1000 for each monster Tributed to Special Summon this card. Activate 1 of the following effects depending on the ATK of this card:

• 1000: If this card is destroyed by battle, draw 1 card.

• 2000: By discarding 1 card, destroy 1 face-up Trap Card on the field.

• 3000 or more: If this card destroyes a monster by battle, decrease your opponent's Life Points by the ATK of the destroyed monster.

Well both cards show good qualities, but B's 1st card, could be slightly improved with wording. But, A's cards are are more original, and that's all I really care about in an effect other then OCG, so i'm afraid, A gets my vote. But card B cards were very good, just lacked the originality card A has. But to both of you, great cards! ^_^

You don't have a line break within multiple card effects. Cards A. I'm guessing these are Ned's, as he doesn't make that mistake.

I voted for card B because I liked its effect and pic. However there is an ocg error. Sense it's attack is already 1000 it's first effect wont activate. Either you meant it like that or you made the simple mistake of saying that it "depends on the attack of this card" instead of "depends on the attack INCREASE of this card."
