You may not know this' date=' but for a firing squad of say 5 people to shoot one man, 4 of them are given blanks in their bullets, only one has the real bullet, in which none of these 5 people who who has the real round and who has the blank.

I admit it sound a little inhuman, but at least it's quick and painless when shot in the head (like being decapitated, although that is simply unacceptable execution by today's standards)

Whats the point of having blanks?

That makes it useless.

No one really deserves to die no matter what

Everybody dies.

But...

Execution should only be used on criminal cases that are serious

E.G.: You kill somebody; You get killed.

Simple.

There is the thing called 'Death Row'

You go to jail, waiting. For a little over 30 years.

Then...

They kill you...

Either way, you die

Execution should stay. It isn't harming out trees is it?

No.

Dog xD?

People deserve to die.

Prove me wrong. Seriously, prove me wrong.

And before you go onward saying "But I'm innocent and dun nothing wrong." You should consider the fact that I'm speaking on a mass standard, not an individualistic one.

So, once again, people deserve to die.

that's true, otherwise they'll simply keep committing crimes, knowing they'll never get the death sentence.

That's basically what will increase their confidence/arrogance, it also makes them think they can predict exactly what's going to happen every time they commit such a crime.

Some of these people have to die to send a message to others.

that's only if you do a slow and painful death, that is why most execution methods are quick/painless (mostly both).

We do this in order to send a message to the rest of the people who think they can do whatever they want and think they can get away with it (and by that I mean the most that will happen to them is being locked in a cell for a matter of years before being released, then they'll be free to do it again).

We do this to make them see that this will be their fate unless they choose to change their ways.

Now, some will simply take the chance in the hopes we were bluffing. Others will try to be more careful in their crimes so they won't get caught. However, the majority will choose to change their ways because (especially the ones who have been caught before) they cannot evade forever.

After all, no one likes to be hunted for their lives.

Untue acually. A recent (within the last 3 years) study on execution in prisons found that only half the amount of seditive was being used. Though the prisoners looked like they were drifting off to sleep, they were still consious and could feel their lungs being paralyzed and stopping and their hearts going into cardiac arrest. Do some research other than when the government "studies" something that they fund.

ok I did the research. They also give the exact same amt of the drug to everyone, and that doesn't always work. It has been shown that sometimes the condemned will wake back up, while others aren't put into an unconscious state at all by this injection. Some took two injections just to get them unconscious.

As for what you said in feeling their lungs being paralyzed and going into cardiac arrest, that is basically the pancuronium bromide in the drug paralyzing the inmate, so he can't express pain under any and all circumstances.

There has also been a problem with the way the injection is administered, in that sometimes there's not enough of that lethal drug to enter the bloodstream and as a result the execution method fails, which means the inmate suffers a devestating pain treatment but survives
