Dr.Pain
I was just wondering with some of my spirits, if they die the turn they are summoned to the field, do they return to the owner's hand during the End Phase? If not, i've been messing some things up XD
CrabHelmet
Nope. Spirits die when they are killed.

Skuldur
You have to use exorcism to get rid of spirits.
Lemniscate
Hey, to expand upon the topic, what happened to Spirits. Will they ever be a really viable deck? I would love to see players start testing them out again. I miss Spirits.

Tsukuyomi, and Asura Priest come to mind - have had their uses.

That guy was awesome, especially with Sacred Phoenix.
ShadowKyogre
Nope. Spirits die when they are killed. And that's what makes them unplayable + the no Special Summoning part. The Spirits in YGO would help the Spirits in MTG, but not the other way around. If they did come back after they were KO'd, then that would make them more playable. GenzoTheHarpist
The Spirits got some support in the form of Izanagi last set at least.

I miss Spirits.[/quote'] Unless card design intervenes (TRANSLATION: they start takin' directions from me) upon lines that allowed them to create Gladiator Beasts, Spirits won't haunt our collective utterances. As of now, outside Izanami, Spirits have no decent support that ties them together (some would count Izanagi as "decent"; I won't, but I digress). The few reliable Spirits that exist (except Izanami) are stand-alones, able to have their own decklists at someone's beck and call (Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, Yamata Dragon, Dark Dust Spirit). GenzoTheHarpist
How the hell is Izanami "decent" but not Izanagi? Izanagi is clearly the superior of the two.
Tabris
Izanagi, practically speakin', is best used for such Spirits as Hino and Yamata. You can't conceivably use it for, say, Izanami (how ironic), or Inaba or Otohime, now. Izanami, in contrast, is more usable.
