lol150+ years ago

Mexico can't win a war.

Canada cannot either. We spend more money in a year on polishing our battleships, than they do on their entire military program. We sure do like shiney battleships. :P

I say attack them both, then keep the entire continent to ourselves... >=D

this is why the US is trying to contain communism (since they've surrounded China with capitalist countries and/or with US troops stationed on them: Japan' date=' Okinawa, South Korea, Taiwan, etc)

Okinawa is a place in Japan. Anywho, that would be awsome if we attacked Mexico and took it over. Free Tacos!

Like Bloodrun said, a lot can happen in 3 years.

Communism is based on equality and a classless society. The society that communism speaks of does will not requir government. Capitalism on the other hand needs a government, and is driven my profit and all goods requir money. So if people found away to make their own food and goods, capitalism would crumble. For some reason, Communism doesn't seem that bad to me.

Communism is simply the final stage of a nation that follows the Marxist philosophy. China is not Communist. China follows the Marxist philosophy, but it has not reached the final stage.

Marxism supports the creation of an all-powerful government to "teach" the citizens of a country how to become beneficial members of society. Then the government is to dissolve, since it is no longer needed, and the people live on happily ever after, training children as they are born.

It doesn't work out that way. No government has managed to reach the final stage because no dictator of a country has been an honest enough man to relinquish all of his power and become just another citizen. Marxism is great, it just depended on humans being incorruptible, when we're not.

I'd also just like to mention that the only reason our troops are coming home is that Barrack is coming into the presidency. Under McCain, we would have been there a lot longer.

Who knows? He actually once said that he'd carry the war on for another 100 years if he had t. Now, this was obviously figurative speech, considering that he'd A: no longer be president and B: be dead. Still, the comment was meant to support his view that no timetable should be created. This is that timetable Barrack wanted.

It's not that McCain's some nutjob or anything the way some people portray him, he's just not proactive the way Obama is. He's not as good at getting things done. Aside from that, Palin is even dumber than Bush, and that's a pretty hard thing to be.
