I personally don't' date=' since that's just a testament to your lack of skills

Agreed! You should do it yourself. It shows the person you like that you are willing to make a move and shows them you are most likely someone they can rely on. And its kind of a plus (for guys and girls) to see someone who can depend on themselves.

As for you shy ppl who are young...you'll get over your shyness...you're still young...I had my first kiss at 3 y/o...and it was a french kiss...lol...hugging is nothing...its the kissing that tends to be harder to do at times...But I was and still am not shy. Hugging is nothing and there is nothing embarrassing about it.

Well, I've never had a GF but I can still help you as one of my best friends has been through it. The advice I give now may seem a little harsh but... Get the f***ing over it! Ever heard the saying "the show must go on"? It's the same with life! That's my advice. Anyways I have a little problem myself...

You see, there's this girl in my class that I really like, but so do 99% of the other boys in my class. My parents keep telling me that they can see that she likes me too. But I am shy as h***. I have absoloutely no nerve to even tell her, let alone ask her out! Please help...

Well, theres 2 things I would recomend.

1) Find out if she has a MySpace, or some sort of internet comunication. Ask her out there, it's always easier and a lot more stress lifting to ask on the internet. That's what it's here for.

2) If godforbid she doesn't, get to know her a little bit more. Talk to her almost every day, ignore your friends for about a week, but let them know what's going on. About a week, bring up hanging out afterschool in one of your conversations. If she says yes, then basicly you know she likes you. If you still can't do it in person, write/print a note asking her that way.

Hope that helps.

1.) She has Facebook and MSN. You know what, that might be good idea.

2.) That is a big no-no. I'm too shy. And I don't think I'll do the note thing as she'll smell it immediatly. I know.

Anyways, I think I'll go with #1. Thanks for the help.

Glad I could help.

Now - Back to my problem.

Ok, so, I really want to move on with my life, but I don't want to get over her. I want her to take me back. But she won't talk to me, and I don't know why. In fact, I don't even know why I want her to take me back. So I need your guys opinions on a few things:

1) I need an excuse to get over her, and it has to be valid, cuz I got nothing.

2) If you guys think I should get a second chance, how should I go about getting her to give me one.

I have never seen a person (no matter how shy) ask someone else to do the work for him/her. All my friends who have bf/gf did it themselves and they all turned out well.

Once you take the first step, the shyness starts fading

OK. For most people, they have another person they really like. Just tell that person your true feelings for them. If they don't like you back, then ask to still atleast be friends. If that person says no, then just ignore them. However, if they do like you back, ask to go on a date with them, say at the movies or go and get something to eat. If your a shy type of person, then don't ask them out. Eventually you will stop liking that person. If your shy, but you have a strong feeling that you must be with a certain person, then take it step by step. First, get them to hold hands with you. Then get them to hug you. Then get them to compliment you. Then, lastly, get them to either ask you out on a date, or you ask them out on a date. If you still think you're not ready, give yourself time. Maybe a week or so. Just, make sure you somehow tell that person that you like them...a lot. That's how I got my girlfriend.

Shouldn't you be like 16 to start dating you guys are to sorry for those of you who are 16 and older like me!

Anywho if your really shy and you really want a GF/BF.

Just be yourself you know.

Also if this works between you and whoever you like you might want to say goodbye and hug your gf or bf for about like 2 to 4 weeks maybe a month. After that, go ahead and kiss and, your things.
