tequilacorbly
You've found a great image for your card, only to find out later that it was from deviantART. Here's the thing, there are a few tools out there to help you out. The problem with...PhotobucketAs an artist there is only one thing I hate about Photobucket, well scratch that, two things. No artist credit! Most of the images posted to PB aren't even tagged with the artit's name.Anyone can buy art! And the owners and creators of the images don't even see a penny from the sales! How to deal with this, and other places where you can find images. Especially when it concerns the deviantART rule here. There are a couple of tools I'd like to recomend.PhotoBucket Rip Detector!Features * Detect images on Photobucket suspected of being taken from deviantART * Provides a link to search deviantART for the image with or without the detected username * Provides a link to send a note on deviantART and automagically fills in the message body with a suggested note * Works with deviantART V6 and Photobucket's v15.0.2 Style * Can be easily disabled just like any other Greasemonkey user scriptFAQQ. What do I need to use Photobucket Rip Detector?A. In order to use this simple script you will need the Firefox web browser and the Greasemonkey add-on for Firefox. Q. Does it work on sites other than Photobucket?A. At this time no, it does not work on other web sites. I hope to add support for other image hosting web sites in a future version. Since parsing web sites and adding content can be difficult I want to focus on one site right now. Q. Will it detect every image that originated from deviantART?A. No, this script will not detect every image. You may get false positives and false negatives. The method this script uses to detect if an image is originally from deviantART is not 100% accurate, but it works most of the time. Q. How do I know if an image detected as a rip actually came from deviantART?A. Use the links provided by the script to search deviantART for the image and/or user. That is the only way you can be sure if the script was right. TinEye Image Search TinEye is an image search engine. Search the web for images using an image. more... 1. Upload an image from your computer, or... 2. Paste a page or image URL, or... 3. Use the TinEye Images bookmarklet to choose from several images on a web page, or best... 4. Install the TinEye browser plugin to right-click any web image from Firefox or IE.Hope these help everyone!

With TinEye you just take the image url and search it.
