Static
Hatred stands as the core cause of social problems, and the entirety of improper genocide. Hate grows faster than the Ebola Virus, which if given the specs, would grow to be the mass of the entire earth in 24 hours. Hate manifest can grow to be even more powerful than the hate that spawned it. One elderly bigot who could not act on his hate could pass his hate on through speech or the internet, and someone else could act on it, the manifestation made prominent and action put behind it. Hate settles deep inside of the human mind, it is created when people cannot accept to blame themselves, or find a real cause of the problems they would choose to trouble themselves with. It is created in the thought processes of the ignorant and uneducated, of the prideful and the underprivileged, and even more so, made prominent between the over privileged. Genocide results from two things, misunderstanding and ignorance, the lack of understanding. Without some sort of idea that human beings are inherently equal because all manifest the same essential energy, and all belong to the world around them, rather than think that parts of the world can belong to them, they will kill each other without justified and logical cause, but they will think it is justice because they are diluted by the hatred that spawned it in the first place. However, Racism is more often than most, the result of improper human conditioning. When people become used to blaming something else, or some other group for their problems, the comfort of hatred grows upon them like a veil, completely shutting out reality and creating an idolization, a sense of perfection of themselves, because they are, have been for too long, and their parents were for whatever reason TOO WEAK TO HANDLE REALITY FOR WHAT IT REALLY IS. When you wonder why someone is hateful, you can choose to look at their friends, but the answer will be far more vague than if you look at their parents. To spawn the seeds of hatred, whether racial, or even absolute hatred, the parents cannot be left out. The parent conditions their child for, essentially, the entirety of their childhood, and if they allow a child to act or think a certain way, miss some key point of discipline that allowed their child to become unjustly self hating because they cannot handle or accept their problems or just the opposite, hateful towards others because of the inability to properly blame themself, such that the former causes are still applicable. The problem is not the people involved, but the idea that caused it in the first place. Difference may have given an opening for the problem to vent and manifest, but mental weakness caused it in the first place. The only way to raise someone in a way that will make them mentally strong enough to choose not to hate is to teach them to let life be. Humans can be programmed for great justice. If it is rooted, it will be harder to deny. Do not question good authority. Exposure will help it grow. The Truth is evident. Conditioning. Let it be. Love. Wyhe
Human beings are destined to hate, it is stitched onto our very mental bloodline for countless generations & will continue that way forever more...that is all I need to say. ragnarok1945
it's not designed to hate if people would agree with you, but since people will always have different viewpoints, it fuels the hate because you think you must be right
Akira
Could it not also be said that hatred grows inside those who are hated?
ragnarok1945
well obviously, unless they simply decided to see around that viewpoint
Megaworm
hatred doesn't grow in us, neurons in our brain attach to the neurons that are labelled in the ideals of hate, and when the channels of atoms that pulse through the neurons linked with the neuron labelled "hate", we begin to act upon that neurological reaction. ragnarok1945
maybe not at the very beginning, but it has been embedded into us for one generation after another. As long as things don't go 100% our way, there will always be hate/anger
Megaworm
hate makes you feel powerful. either because it's taught, or because you watch anime too much and think "if i get really pissed off i become super powerful and everyone will fear me". Most people can live lives without hate to begin with, it's just taught to them by negative people who can uncannily persuade others around them to output their negative emotions that probably haven't existed in years. ragnarok1945
Sometimes it can be the family that drills it into you, other times you experience it yourself due to your surroundings. But it doesn't really make you powerful of course. It might make you feel a little better, but that's all.

ragnarok1945
is that your version of hatred leads to killing which leads to justice? Maybe to you it will
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Hatered is no big deal, it takes over humans and any other being, and will control you completely. I hate alot of things, but the question is, is it really hatred to make yourself angered? Do you hate yourself? Then why is it you hate? Then why is it do you not like to hate? Simple questions indead, but it will cause you to think. For once. <.< The Crimson One,Miranda-chan
ragnarok1945
yeah well hate DOES affect your emotions and the way you think, that's why when fueled by so much of it, many people take action LONG before they even bother to think
Marisa Kirisame-ze
Thats the thing, you must control hate before it controls you and if you can't, you have a bad chance was the outcome of hate going well... ragnarok1945
this depends on the willpower of the individual. Some people with that much anger and hate can still see what they're doing will sink them to low level, but others are so determined to resolve the situation at hand right away that all they can see is what's happening right now, without the slightest consideration of what this will do to them when this is over

ragnarok1945
I know. Only machines (well, non developed AI machines) can't hate because they have no emotions.
Wyhe
[Referring to the last 2 posts on Page 1] Ah, emotions...it is such a blessing to us all...and a curse too at the same time as well...how pitiful are we Man.
ragnarok1945
that's true, but I'd rather have the emotions because you can choose (at least to some extent) for it to be a blessing or a curse
Static
Looks like Static has degenerated into Captain Obvious. Anyone who wants to call me out on a necrobump, Gtfo. I posted this thread and haven't logged on since, so I think I'm entitled to respond just as fairly as anyone on any other thread. Marty, it's so sad to see that you don't get it, I had such high hopes for you. You think that people just are what they are, that they are simple beings that we can do what we want with to reach some sort of made up but sensible purpose. When you sit atop your throne, caught in the corruption that comes from dreams of change, I hope you choke on the last piece of beef from the last cow that will ever walk the earth. Keep swinging to the rhythm of the New World Order, chances are you'll never get anywhere, you'll just try to make up for the fact that you'll have settled in life, remembering so vividly the dream for perfection while you sit on your couch chilling discontent with whatever you've amounted too.
