Ok, lets talk about Christmas Break and the war on-

Annoying, PC person: It's Winter Break! We don't want to offend anyone!

*Shoots the Annoying, PC person*

Anyway, lets talk about Christmas Break and the war on Christmas.

People say that labeling it Christmas Break is offensive to non-Christians. Are you saying that other people enjoy being lied to? Because that is what is happening, we are being lied to.

The lie? That Corperations, Schools, and Television are playing their "Holiday" specials for a "religously neutral" audiance. That is a load of crap and we all know it.

Let's come to terms with it, it is all for Christmas. Hanukka only sparingly falls in the area around Christmas Break, Kwanzaa takes place December 26th to January 6th (which is most likely after we arrive back to our daily lives), and Ramadan (although labelled a "Winter" holiday) never takes place in December.

I'm not saying other religions are false, I am just saying don't lie to me about why I am missing a month (because we indeed get a month off this year for Christmas Break) of school.

And another thing! People who work retail, don't say "Happy Holidays". You do not know how annoying it is. If you don't want to make assumptions, or you are too scared to wish people cheer on a day you celebrate but your customer doesn't necessarily recognize, then just shut up.

Now, my friends of other faiths, tell me: Does saying Christmas Break, or Merry Christmas offend you?

I say Happy Holidays, not that you are offending anyone, but you are treating the world as 100% Christian. I an half and half Hindu, but I am not offended when people say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. I think that HH applies to an overall more people, and still applies to people who celebrate Christmas. But people go TOO far with it.
