Larxene
Actually, she's probably right. But I've never had a boyfriend, or a girlfriend, but I still think it's pointless. If you can deal with your life by yourself, then there's no reason to love anyone.
ragnarok1945
Love isn't like that. It's like betting' date=' you win some, you loose some. Some people just aren't meant to be.[/quote'] That's true, but generally there's someone for everyone. You just have to be persistent in finding it, usually it doesn't happen on the first try. As per your betting concept, you're right, you'll get heart warmed when you find the one, but you have to get heartbroken some times first. 「tea.leaf」
ITT: Tea Leaf can't accept true facts. What? There is no truth regarding things as subjective as love. OP is a dumbass for making extreme generalizations.
Dark
Love is pointless, yes.Love is unmeaningful and sharp, yes.Love is not necessary, no. Love is necessary, as it makes you feel better. Love is the time of your life when you realize that so many good things can happen. It can make someone emo into a flourishing optomistic. But we don't NEED love, we just WANT it. ragnarok1945
Well, that's not necessarily true. Without being loved you may just end up going completely insane and killing yourself due to the depression
Jesus
ITT: Tea Leaf can't accept true facts. There is no truth regarding things as subjective as love. Love isn't subjtective, Love is the same everywhere. All good things come to an end, so why even bother putting up with the heartbreak?

Jesus
because some people prefer to love and lost than never to start it at all "The term "It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" is a meaningless term, and possibly the biggest lie I've ever come across. Loving and Losing the person you love most is the biggest pain and suffering you will ever come across. The only way to protect yourself is to not love at all. Forget how to love. Save yourself the pain, forget about love. All they tell you is a suger-coated lie, the pain will never stop. The pain will just continue to consume you until there is nothing left." ragnarok1945
No, that just makes you nothing but a coward. You're afraid to get hurt, so you refuse to take that chance. You're afraid to develop deep feelings for a person because you're so confident you'd lose him/her.
Jesus
I'm so confident, that I know it's going to happen. All good things come to an end.
ragnarok1945
And that is true, I don't question that. But some people have the willpower to move on after the heartbreak, you know.
Jesus
And that is true' date=' I don't question that. But some people have the willpower to move on after the heartbreak, you know.[/quote'] "You sit there, thinking and beleiving the lies your so called 'Friends' fill you with. That it'll all be over soon, it doesn't matter, get over it, theres other people out there, that the pain will go away. They're wrong. They're all wrong. The pain will always linger. The pain and the suffering you endured will always remain in the very depths of your mind, lingering. Waiting. Waiting until the exact moment, when you are most vulnerable. They strike you down months, maybe even years from when the pain first began."
ragnarok1945
I never said the pain won't linger, but some people can put it behind them, or can suppress it down so that it can't control them into a clinical depression
Jesus
I'm not one of those people. I need knowledge, reasoning, understanding, and logic to move foward. Not to put it behind me and go "WOOHOO SMILE TIME!".
ragnarok1945
and that's where the saying all good things must come to an end comes in play, so for you I understand why you feel this way. But others feel you can choose to love again, and to feel happiness again, and that is worth the risk of being heartbroken again
Jesus
The only way I would ever feel love again is if that I figured out what happened in my last relationship =/.

Jesus
"You wait weeks, months, years, sitting at your bedside, wondering, pondering, thinking, "What went wrong. What did I do to deserve this." And sure, if you're anything like me, you obsess over it. You sit there, writing, thinking, creating theroys on why it happened, and how to fix it. How to stop it from happening again." I obsess over things dude. People in my school think I'm going to kill everybody =/
