Shadow Beings

Crisstian Nobles

Recommended Posts

These are cards that I have been imagining for a while now...never had a chance to give them life but this is the rough draft for the Shadow Beings. I am still working on the artwork and fine tuning some of the special abilities and extending the history of the cards but the general idea and what is needed to use the cards is there. Let me know what you think.

Shadow Elf, a once devout servant of light, is now a destroyed and reforged soul in the service of the shadows due to the lure and promise of eternal glory. When Shadow Elf destroys a monster on your opponents side of the field, a shadow token of the same monster is summoned to your side of the field with all the original attack and defensive points of the destroyed monster. The only drawback being that the shadow token lacks any special ability that the original once had. When Shadow Elf is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can sacrifice one monster of two thousand points or greater to summon him back to the field.

The Shadow Lich is the darkest being in existance. He is the materialized form of all the souls ever sent to the Graveyard. His attack and defense points increase by adding only half of the highest number of any monster sent to the graveyard by Shadow Lich from the turn he is summoned until the end of the duel. When Shadow Lich is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can sacrifice one monster of two thousand attack points or greater to summon Shadow Lich back to the field at its original attack and defense points.

A sacred beast born from the shadow of the purest being in existance: The Phoenix. When this monster attacks and destroys a monster on your opponents side of the field, half of its defense points are added to your life points. When this monster is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can return it to the field if you sacrifice a monster of two thousand attack points or more from your side of the field.

This monster is the combined form of all the Shadow Beings. The only way it can be summoned is to have all three Shadow Beings sacrificed from the field at once. It's attack and defense points are calculated as followed: The attack and defense points that Shadow Lich has absorbed, minus it's original attack and defense points + The number of life points you have recieved from Shadow Phoenix + The combined attack and defense points of all the tokens summoned by Shadow Elf divided in half = The attack and defense points of Shadow Divinity. You can also choose one special ability from one of the three Shadow Beings and apply it to Shadow Divinity. This Being is also immune to the special abilities of any monster with the exception of another Divine Beast. Lastly, if Shadow Divinity is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, you can remove one of the original three Shadow Beings from play in order to resummon him with the attack and defense points he had last time, minus three thousand points to both his attack and defense points.
