EHERO Andrew
Ok, ppl couldn't figure out how to get a partner in Beginning of Destiny (PS2) game, which is what you need in order to get into the Tag Force Tourney and to the next part in Story Mode. Here are the steps to getting a partner. 1) Choose a Main Character to partner up with. (Jaden, Zane, Chazz, Alexis)2) Talk to your chosen character.3) Duel that character and win. When you win a duel against him/her, for the first time per day, you will hear a beeping sound before your partner talks. That means his/her Level of Trust has been raised (key to getting a partner).4) Go to the Store and buy Sandwhiches. Buy as many as you can hold. (If you get the Golden Egg Sandwich, that will boost up the Level of Trust). When you need to give your character a sandwich, press X and select Item. Select a sandwich and select Give. (Jaden is the easiest to please, bc he likes almost every sandwich. Destiny Sandwich should not be fed to any character. It tastes bad to them). After he/she eats it and you hear a beeping sound, your character's Level of Trust has been raised. 1 Duel + sandwiches = 1 Heart Level of Trust. This takes 7 (at minimum) days in the game... When your partner's Level of Trust raises to 7 hearts, he/she will ask to be your partner. Keep talking to him/her every day until he/she asks the question. Once he/she is your partner, you can keep ending days until the tourney (and his/her Level of Trust will never change once he/she is your partner), but make sure you take all your tests and get your 1000 DP bonus from Shepherd. Remember, check his/her Level of Trust everytime before you End the Day. It's very easy.
