Guest Tiger
I'm in the middle of reading the book, "Where the Red Fern Grows". I'm at about Chapter 7 - up to the point where Billy brings home the pups and his sisters ask him all these questions. What do you think of the book if you have read it. I personally think it is very good. If you would like to talk about things from other chapters you're welcome to, but please, put it into a spoiler. Parting Shot
I remember reading that book. It has a rather sad ending, but I won't say anymore so as not to ruin it for you :P

I don't really want to know, anyway.
Lazer Yoshi
It is quite sad. But it's a Great Book. I only read it because my Teacher told us to, but then I realized it was a Great Book.
ragnarok1945
The ending was quite tragic. Still remember it quite well despite the fact it's been years since I last read the book
CrabHelmet
The ending is completely given away by the cover, which contains an illustration of both a "HEY I WON AN AWARD" medal symbol and a dog.

My book shows Billy with his full-grown pups.

Sparta™
A boy named Billy wanted some pups, so he goes all the way over to another place and buys them. He then comes back to raise them. [spoiler=Spoiler]He then raises them to kill other small animals to sell the animals fur, but then the dogs later as they get older attacked by a lion, and the boy dog died, and the girl dog died due to depression because the other dog died. But in the end, a red fern grew between their graves and a legend from the indians had a tale similar to that. You've gotta read the book for full detail.
