My Pokemon manga to be.

I'm thinking about making a manga about Pokemon. I'd start it with the mane guy (me) battling in the Hoen League Champion ship (not the Gyms just the tournament thing. I wanted to skip straight to the awesome bit) with some anon people and some of my character’s friends and future rivals. Then my guy will go to Sinnoh and do stuff there. There wouldn't be many chapters as I'd have maybe the one of extra chapter between each gym and I might even skip some gyms to save time.

 

I have mad art skills but I need to get a bit better at my anime in order to succeed at a manga.

 

[spoiler=Here’s my character design]

 

Name: (Help please) I was thinking Felix because that’s what I use as an alias most of the time but now I’m moving towards a name like Elliot something. I really need a second name.

 

Age: At start 16, turns 17 while in Sinnoh.

 

Clothes: Green T-shirt with white horizontal stripes (My own personal favorite shirt that I have) with a white long sleeve under shirt, gray jeans and red shoes with white bits and stuff.

 

 

 

Personality: Likes to have fun but can get quite depressed at times. Funny on occasions and kinda shy as well. Also has a strong sense of justice but can be bent to suit his own wants. Not the most active person in the Pokemon world either. (He’s like me but put into a Pokemon world situation.

 

Some Back story:

Felix/Elliot also lacks the knack for catching Pokes, yes he’s a kick @$$ battler but he lacks the initiative to do things like catching a Pokemon and therefor only has Pokes that he has met and have chosen to be on his. Consequentially he therefor has a strong relationship with all his Pokemon including his Blazicken, which used to be his starter Torchic. This lack of Pokemon catchingness in Elliot is a running joke that I wish to have in my manga.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Pokemon team going into the Hoen League]

 

As we meat the hero at the Hoen Leaugue championship he has the team:

 

Blaziken (Chuck, female, quite silly but is a great Poke anyway)

Heracross (Oliverif my name is Elliot, Elliot if my name is Felix, male, quite the show off)

Salamence (Jessica, female, a bit childish)

Absol (Moon, female, cool but affectionate)

Metagross (Nick, Kind of emotionless but it’s obvious he likes me cos he carries me around sometimes)

 

Note: He only has five because he is crap at catching Pokemon. In the Hoen league I thought it would be cool if he borrowed a different Poke from his friends every battle. Also this is not my real team, if it was then I would be a BIG nub cake.

 

 

 

[spoiler=Pokemon team at the Sinnoh League Championship]

Not gonna tell you because I want to keep you all in suspense. Howevr I will say that it was my old crappy team that failed missarably. Later on if I do some stuff about the new Battle Frontier I’ll just keep adding Pokes that I actually own.

 

 

 

Felix/Elliot will take his Heracrosss with him into Sinnoh but on most occasions will refrain from using him as he is far too powerful to use at a Gym level and gives him an unfair advantage to most people. He uses him in battles with really good opponents though. He picks a Piplup as his Sinnoh starter and names him Sam.

 

I was hoping for some help with the development of my other characters.

Best friend Cooper:

A good breeder and a great battler. Very spontanious and fun. Not afraid to make himself look stupid if it gets a laugh.

 

Best friend 2 (Need help with name. It’s a girl’s name because… well she’s a girl):

Also a good laugh. Is very good at Pokemon contests but also loves to battle normally.

 

Greatest rival. I was gonna call him with the nickname squid but I think I want to base it on are beloved Flame Dragon as he would pown my friend Tom:

He gets to the finals against Felix after knocking out Cooper. Hails from kanto

 

Bad guy called Constantine Bad:

Controls the organization Bad co. Kind of like Giovani (whatever his name is) and the team Aqua leader. Not really looking for world domination. Bad co. is more of a normal company that does some naughty things on the side. Ambitions may become greater as story ensues but at the start they are low key. I want help with a team for Constatine (Here’s a hint, his name means something like unmovable. Here’s a picture.

 

 

I'm really sorry about this crappy attachment thing but Image Shack and Tinypic weren't working for it. I either got this or the image whent all fuzzy. I chose this way to keep my sprites quality. Constantine’s Henchman:

Can’t be bothers but I have a rough plan. There will be three of them each with a different Dark type with them.

 

Gym leaders:

Come up with some ideas guys and maybe a quick outline of how I could meat them.

 

 

 

 

Whew done… Hope this gets replies or I wasted the majority of my afternoon.

 

If you’ve got any ideas in general they are appreciated too.

Can't really think of a name for "Felix" either, but I'd probably choose a simple name like Markus or Matthew or something. I hate the name Eliot (no offense). I don't really like Jessica's name either. Moon is cool though.

For his second friend, I'm thinking something associated with weather or a time of day. I'm thinking "Clear" or "Noon", but they don't sound right.

Bad co. is a bit of a simple name.

Yeh I wanted it to be simple. Blatantly obcious in fact, jusk another jokey joke. The fact is though, Constantine's second name is Bad so that's really how it ties in.

 

Elliot is a great name you're wrong end of. I think Felix Sullivan is good and for Elliot (two l's), Elliot Fox.

Hmm... Applications? If you wanna have a character based on you then sure. Write it down and tell me a storyline I could use him/her in. Also if you could give me an anime that has a character that resembles what you want him/her to look like, that would be great.

Flame Dragon has also agreed to be a chracter in my manga:mrgreen: I shall give him the name Jacob Blaze (Second name kinda sucks but he asked for it as his first so I made it his second name, I figure I can take the piss out of it. You know like "Blaze?..... That's your name?..... Blaze?" That kind of thing)

Yeah lol, I'll come up with a better character design though. I cant draw them all looking like the ones from the Pokemon game. I'll keep the shirt cos it sounds nice and the hair colour will stay the same too.
