ShadowRSonic
Recently I have seen people debating over which image editing program is the best. They all ruled out paint (of course)They mentioned GIMP and Photoshop but I hardly ever hear a mention of Paint.NET.PDN is every bit as good as PS or GIMP, they're like brothers XDWhen I go looking for tutorials on graphics I only see photoshop and gimp tuts. Yet I can still follow them with basic knowledge.Sorry, I just felt I had to get this into the open.
Catman25
Paint is still awesome, I use it to splice and recolor. The others just have more tools and options and stuff.

Parting Shot
Paint.net no has brushes. Brushes make my Glyph set possible. Thus, no brushes, no happy Browa :( I do like it for the occasional thing, though.
Tefached
sorry dude, paint.net isn't as good as ps.Paint.net is like a worse mixture of gimp and paint.not all that great but to learn/start out its not bad.

ragnarok1945
paint.NET is nothing compared to Photoshop. With GIMP (which I've only used occasionally) at least it had a slight chance, paint.NET has none at all

Prada
PDN fails. This thread is fail for even thinking it's not. Learn to use GIMP or PS. Both are epically better than PDN. Learn this, take this in, and never make a thread like this again.

+Jono
I used to think PDN was as good as PS. But then I got a brain... And PS... Photoshop is much, much better than PDN and if you think otherwise then you're deluded. PDN doesn't even support decent custom brushes.
